Cursed Love

Cursed Love

Chapter 1: Rain-Soaked Beginning

A gentle rainy moment.

A group of teenage girls are running joyfully across the field.

Wearing their college uniforms, their smiles color their hearts.

At one corner of the field, scattered bags seem to witness their happiness.

Suddenly, everyone's eyes fixate on one girl standing in the middle.

That girl—Anha.

Her fair skin resembles milk washed by moonlight.

Her eyes are deep, black, and mesmerizing.

Her hair flows down to her waist, and her pink lips hold an unknown charm.

Whoever looks at her seems to lose themselves in a supernatural spell.

Her eyes hold a strange magic—anyone who looks into them can no longer remain themselves.

Anha thought maybe the tree would protect her from the rain.

But that was only a fantasy.

Half of her body was already wet, and the rest—her friends would make sure to drench!

She couldn't stand still anymore.

Suddenly, she shouted—

“Hey, come on! Let’s go home. Mom will kill me today!”

One friend laughed and said,

“Relax, nothing will happen. This is the time to have fun. How can you be so scared, sister?”

Another supported,

“Anha, please come! Nothing will happen. Auntie won’t say anything to you. Why are you so scared?”

Anha pulled a sharp sarcastic smile and said—

“Oh really? Nothing will happen? Stupid! My mom threatened this morning—if I get wet in the rain, she’ll beat me with a shoe! Don’t forget last time I caught cold because of you all!”

“Bro chill, nothing will happen, come on!”

“Listen sister, I’m getting wet because of you all. If I get beaten, one day is yours, one day is mine.”

“Alright, do whatever you want, just come now.”

Finally, Anha suppressed her fear and joined in the rain’s celebration.

While her friends were busy dancing and running in the rain, a naughty thought suddenly struck her mind.

She pushed one friend into the mud.

The others laughed seeing this.

And the one who was pushed started chasing Anha.

Anha ran desperately to escape.

In this way, the laughter and muddy play melted them all in moments.

As soon as the rain stopped, they headed home.

---

When Anha reached home, she saw her mother standing at the door with a broom in hand!

Anha was panting heavily—she slowly moved closer.

Mother (angrily):

“I told you not to get wet in the rain. Yet you got wet? Today is your day, not mine!”

Anha (pleading):

“Mom, please forgive me today. I swear, I’ll be good. I won’t do this again.”

But her mother paid no heed and approached with the broom.

Anha ran into the house.

Her father was there; she hid behind him.

Anha:

“Dad! Save me from mom!”

Mother (shouting):

“Beware! If you take her side! She has disturbed my peace. She just got over fever two days ago, and now she’s wet again!”

Father (laughing):

“Hey, she’s just at the age to have fun. If not now, then when?”

Anha:

“Yes dad, mom doesn’t understand anything. She’s always trying to beat me!”

Mother:

“Today, I will...!”

Before she could say more, father sent Anha to her room and tried to calm her mother.

Mother (in a hurt voice):

“You spoil her too much. Day by day, she’s becoming a monkey.”

Father (softly):

“In a few days, the girl will leave us. Until then, let her have some fun.”

Hearing this, mother’s heart felt heavy.

The girl she lovingly cared for—she had to send her away to another home one day.

This truth was unbearable.

Mother (softly):

“Isn’t it possible—to keep the girl with us forever?”

Father (sighing):

“That’s impossible. One day we will be gone. What will happen to her then?”

Thinking this, tears welled up in mother’s eyes.

Perhaps she understood that one day her daughter would go her own way, but her heart refused to accept it.

---

Back in her room, Anha entered another world.

Freshened up, she started her favorite pastime—reading novels.

Her favorite thing in life was romantic novels.

She had one desire—

A hero, just like the ones in the novels,

Who would protect her with endless love,

Whose love would be blind but full of respect,

Who would be willing to do anything to have Anha.

Anha’s dream—someone who would live only for her.

But...

Do all dreams come true?

Maybe some do...

But in a very frightening form.

“For the one she has dreamed so much about...

Will that person truly be hers?”
