CHAPTER 0: Before the Storm
“In the beginning, then land was whole. Until power cracked it into four.”
The world of Virelya is ruled not by kings alone, but by power — ancient, divine, and dangerous.
There are four great kingdoms, each holding dominion over a corner of the known world:
🔥 Soltherra
The Kingdom of Flame and Might. Its warriors command fire, time, and spirit.
Ruled by House Valenhart, the Flame blood Dynasty.
Their crest: a phoenix burning through a golden sun.
🌙 Nytheris
The Kingdom of Ice and Moonlight. Masters of shadow, moon, and cold.
Ruled by House Nocturne, the Moonborn Line.
Their crest: a crescent moon wrapped in black roses.
🌿 Velmara
The Kingdom of Life and Nature. Home to healers, seers, and earth mages.
Ruled by House Myrrhveil, the Greenbloods.
Their crest: a blooming lotus beneath a waterfall.
⚡ Aurellon
The Kingdom of Sky and Light. Their people harness wind, lightning, and illusion.
Ruled by House Caelum, the Starborns.
Their crest: a silver star rising above clouds.
Though allies in words, the kingdoms are divided by prophecy — one that speaks of a child lost to shadow and born of moonlight, destined to shake the balance.
🌌 Power System
Each person in Virelya is born with one or two elemental affinities, determined by birth under the goddess-moons.
But rare exceptions exist — those blessed (or cursed) with three, four, even five powers. They are known as:
Novari – Blessed Ones (3 powers)
Ascendari – Gifted (4 powers)
Celestari – Divine-Blooded (5 powers)
Only a handful in all the realms have ever reached Celestari rank — and they are feared, worshipped, and hunted.
Ranks of power are:
1. Neophyte – Beginner
2. Acolyte – Learner
3. Adept – Skilled
4. Magus – Master
5. High Magus – Elite of their kingdom
6. Ascended – Rare god-tier beings, above mortal law
🎓 Academia Luxis
To harness power and maintain peace, all kingdoms send their strongest to train in Academia Luxis, a school hidden between realms.
It is there that destinies clash, secrets unravel, and where she will rise — the girl long forgotten by her kingdom… and by fate.
