He was standing in the mansion again. But it was no longer ruined. The walls gleamed with fresh paint. Candles flickered in elegant sconces. Laughter and music echoed faintly from some faraway ballroom.
And in the corridor ahead… someone stood.
Tall, in regal clothing that shimmered with impossible detail. Long hair falling over one shoulder. Eyes like the night sky—watching him.

Who-- who are you?
The figure didn’t answer. But then smiled, walking toward him slowly.
The stranger said softly. The voice was like silk wrapping around his ribs.

The stranger reached out and touched Taehyung’s cheek, cold and burning all at once.

Taehyung woke with a jolt, heart racing, eyes scanning the room.
Moonlight poured in through the window. The box still sat beside him—closed and still. But the air felt… heavier. Charged.
He sat up slowly, rubbing his chest.

Taehyung looked at his phone to know the time and it was.
Taehyung again looked around the house and closed his eyes as it's about the time to sunrise.
