Dim. Humming silence. The walls pulse faintly with dull neon veins. Lyra sits curled in the corner, knees to chest, sweat glistening along her temple. Her wristband interface flickers with low amber light.
She stares forward blankly.

Replay fragment zero-nine underscore one-A.
A low chime. The chamber darkens.
Ext. Rain-Soaked Cityscape-Memory Fragment
Lyra (memory version) walks towards a solitary figure: Eris, who leans casually against a rusted railing overlooking the city drop
She turns, catching Lyra's gaze
Eris Rame
You always zone out when it rains. (smiles) What are you thinking?
Lyra Rotn
(memory)
That this moment feels... perfect. But temporary.
Eris Rame
That's what makes it real.
Silence. The rain falls around them.
Lyra Rotn
(present)
(whispers)
What did I do wrong?
She reaches out–hand trembling –but her fingers pass through Eris like light hitting mist.
Eris turns again, flickering slightly.
The rain freezes midair. Colors smear. Eris's face fragments into cascading static.
Lyra Rotn
Please! Don't forget what?
Eris Rame
(Glitched)
Do–n't–fo–rg–et...
The image collapses into a pulse of white.
Lyra gasps, her back arching as she's yanked from the fragment. Lights buzz above her.

Layered trauma often resists recall. The mind protects itself from unresolved events. Fragments become unstable when tethered to emotional overload.
Lyra Rotn
Override emotional suppression. Give me the full file.
Echo_09
(V. O)
Override not permitted. Emotional stability threshold too low.
She slams her fist against the metal floor, breathing hard.
Lyra Rotn
(snarling)
Then we do this the hard way.
She rises slowly. The surrounding chamber seems to pulse with tension. The shadows stretch as if reacting to her resolve.
She walks towards the terminal
