4. A NIGHT RIDE WITH VIOLET - I

As I met Bruce there, I asked him for what they all met at this time. He replied that, they were here for dance practice for freshers' party. I really wondered and replied, good and so sincere in work. Bruce said that, the appreciation goes to Violet as she was the one to host and organise the practice.

I and Bruce were speaking for 5 minutes, that let me know that Bruce, Jenny and Mary were going to sing in the freshers' party.

I asked Bruce that, is he going to the party now, so I could accompany him. But he goes home and he would come to the party.

Then I was to make a move. But Bruce stopped me and asked for a help. He want me to drop Violet to her home.

I asked him to book a cab for her. He said that, her way to home has blocked 4 wheelers temporarily. Her cycle she came with also is not working for now. So I agreed to take her home.

I took her bag, told her to sit in my bike and I put the bag inbetween us. She said her way and I started riding.

While moving some distance she had put her hands in my shoulder. Within moment, my body became cold and I got goosebumps. I stopped my bike in road side and told her to take her hand.

She said she felt it was safe when holds my shoulders. My heart started palpitating, because it remembered me a thing...... When I was 15, I was walking with my parents in a park. My mom was holding my dad's hand and she was coming. My dad told her to leave his hand and walk freely. But my mom replied, a women always feels she is safe when she holds her husband. So I immediately told Violet to leave my shoulders.

Then I continued riding. While moving I asked her a sorry. She asked for the reason. I said that because, me picking the lily that day made her to get a name like this in the school website.

I also said that I didn't upload anything on the school website. She replied that "I know Anton. You won't do it."

I asked how she knows it. She said that she noted me from the first day and upto her observance I won't do it. It was so happy for me that a girl has a good opinion on me.

I asked her why she slapped Mary at in meeting hall. She said that Mary told I (Anton) was the one who did all the stuffs in school website. So when she blamed me without proofs she got slap from Violet. It made me more and more happier that she fought with her best friend for me.

Then we both were moving in silence.

After sometime Violet started shivering. She said she was feeling cold. So I parked my bike in a restaurant and I ordered a coffee for her.

She had a sip and she changed her mind for green tea. So I took the coffee and started drinking. After drinking it I kept the cup in the table.

She saw me, noticed something and started laughing. She took a mobile mirror and showed it against me. My lips had a lipstick mark.

I was finding how it came to my lips. Anyone seeing it would think I kissed a girl in lips.

The lipstick stain was from the coffee mug. When Violet had a sip in the coffee mug the lipstick stain came into it.

I didn't notice it and I also sipped in it. I didn't find how it came. Violet only said this.

She took a tissue from her bag and wiped my lips with it......
