4.The Deal

Meeting Room – Sitara’s Office
Sitara sat at the conference table, dressed in formal wear. Her expression calm. Confident. Focused.
Around her sat a group of influential investors, all with keen eyes and eager minds. The projector screen behind her glowed softly, waiting.
Mr. Bansal
Mr. Bansal
(President of the Company) "Let’s begin the meeting. Ms. Sitara, the floor is yours."
Sitara stood up slowly, walked to the front, and began her presentation.
Sitara Verma (FL)
Sitara Verma (FL)
(professionally): “The product I’m presenting today is a custom-built cybersecurity system. It uses triple-encrypted data layers, decentralized control, and biometric sync access. The goal is to protect individual company databases from data theft, leaks, and breaches.”
She tapped her iPad, and the projector displayed the full layout of the system’s architecture.
Sitara Verma (FL)
Sitara Verma (FL)
(confidently): “It’s virtually unbreachable. No backdoors. No entry points. Even insider breaches will get instantly blocked and logged.”
The investors leaned forward. Impressed. Curious. Whispering among themselves.
Sitara kept her tone crisp and answered every question with precision.
As the last slide faded out, she concluded her talk with a confident nod and returned to her seat.
Mr. Bansal
Mr. Bansal
(smiling): “Thank you, Sitara. That was excellent.”
He stood up and turned to the investors.
Mr. Bansal
Mr. Bansal
“As you can see, this system has the potential to revolutionize business data security. Let’s discuss the investment.”
The investors started murmuring again, throwing out offers.
Investor 1
Investor 1
“I’m ready to invest. This is the future.”
Investor 2
Investor 2
“Count me in. What’s the expected pricing?”
But one man sat quietly at the edge of the table — composed, calm, and unreadable. His eyes were stuck to the projector screen, then to Sitara… who was now silently noting down key points on her iPad.
Narrator's Note: His name hadn't been spoken yet. But his presence was undeniable.
Suddenly, the man stood up.
Unknown Investor
Unknown Investor
(in deep voice): “Mr. Bansal… I’m ready to invest in this project.”
Everyone turned to look. Silence filled the room for a moment.
Mr. Bansal
Mr. Bansal
(nodding politely): “Sir, we appreciate that. But we will proceed with the investor whose offer is most beneficial for us. What’s your proposed amount?”
Unknown Investor
Unknown Investor
(calmly): “I’m ready to invest anything to acquire this project.”
Other investors suddenly jumped in.
Investor 2
Investor 2
“Even I’m willing to invest whatever it takes!”
Investor 1
Investor 1
“Fifty crores. No questions.”
Investor 2
Investor 2
“Sixty-five. Let’s not waste time.”
The bidding started heating up.
Mr. Bansal
Mr. Bansal
“The minimum investment value is 50 crores.”
Voices overlapped. Offers climbed.
Then suddenly… silence.
Unknown Investor
Unknown Investor
(firmly): “100 crores.”
The entire room froze.
Chairs creaked. Pens dropped. Silence roared louder than chaos.
Mr. Bansal
Mr. Bansal
(shocked): “100 crores… for a cybersecurity system?”
The man didn’t blink. Didn’t smirk. Just looked… certain.
Mr. Bansal
Mr. Bansal
(recovering quickly): “Well… I suppose we have our deal.”
He turned to Sitara, voice calm but excited.
Mr. Bansal
Mr. Bansal
“Sitara, please bring the deal papers.”
Sitara stood up slowly, stunned herself. She pulled out the file she had prepared and walked toward the projector where Mr. Bansal and the man now stood.
As she reached them, the man turned slightly. Towering. Sharp suit. Clean expression.
Sitara handed the file to Mr. Bansal, avoiding direct eye contact.
Mr. Bansal
Mr. Bansal
(smiling): “Here are the terms.”
The man took the file. Flipped through the pages. Signed without hesitation.
He placed the file back on the table and extended his hand.
Mr. Bansal
Mr. Bansal
(grinning): “Congratulations, Mr. Daksh Agnihotri.”
Sitara’s head shot up. Her eyes widened.
Sitara Verma (FL)
Sitara Verma (FL)
(thinking): Daksh Agnihotri?! He’s the calmest… richest… most mysterious investor in the industry. Known for rarely appearing publicly unless the deal was worth billions…

Congrats to you too Mr.Bansal
Mr. Bansal
Mr. Bansal
(to Sitara): “Sitara, congratulations. Your system just closed a 100 crore deal.”
Sitara managed a small smile, but her mind was spinning.
Sitara Verma (FL)
Sitara Verma (FL)
(thinking): Why did Daksh Agnihotri come here for my project? Why so much money?
Sitara's House
The living room was calm. Sitara's parents were sitting quietly, sipping tea.
Sunita Verma (FL
Sunita Verma (FL'S MOTHER)
(calmly): "She sounded so happy today. Maybe her project went well."
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
"Hmm. Let’s hope it brings something good for us too."
Just then… Ding-Dong The doorbell rang.
Sunita Verma (FL
Sunita Verma (FL'S MOTHER)
(standing up): "I'll get it."
She casually walked to the door… but the moment she opened it, her expression froze.
Her eyes widened in shock. The words refused to leave her lips.
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
(frowning): "Who is it? Why are you standing like a statue?"
He got up and walked toward fx door.
As soon as his eyes met the man standing outside... his legs trembled.
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
(stunned whisper): "Ra… Rana Sa…"
A tall man in his late 50s, wearing a tailored black suit and an unmistakable air of power, stood at their doorstep — Rajendra Singh Chauhan.
He let out a faint chuckle, calm but dangerous.
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
(smirking): "Won’t you invite me in, Vijay?"
Vijay quickly composed himself
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
(forcing a smile): "A–arey, no no, please come in, Rana Sa… come in."
Rajendra stepped in — each stride heavy with unspoken rage.
Vijay Verma (FL

(Gesturing): "Please sit…"
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
(coldly): "I’m not here to sit and sip tea, Vijay. I just want answers."
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
(nervous): "A–answers? What kind of questions?"
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
(sternly): "Why did you disappear 24 years ago?"
Silence.
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
(guilt-ridden): "I wanted to start a new life… away from all of it. Somewhere I could live in peace. And now I am… happy."
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
(Eyes narrowing): "So you won’t give me a straight answer. Fine."
He took a step closer, lowering his voice.
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
"Then answer this at least— When did you have a daughter?"
Vijay’s breath caught. His face went pale.
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
"H–how do you know about my daughter? When did you meet her?"
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
(smirking): "On the road. Just by chance. Seems like fate wanted me to know. Now answer me, Vijay. The truth."
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
(reluctantly): "After I left… I got married. She was born a year later."
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
(Voice rising): "Of course I can see you’ve built a nice family now. But that’s not what I asked. I want the truth. And you know what will happen if you lie."
Vijay hesitated, then signaled his wife.
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
(To his wife): "Go to the kitchen. Please make some tea for Rana Sa."
She nodded slowly and left the room.
Rajendra stepped closer.
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
(deadly calm): "You took everything. You left without a word, betrayed us all. And now… you lie to my face?"
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
(Whispers): "I–I’m telling the truth… Rana Sa… please believe me…"
But Rajendra’s patience had snapped.
He grabbed Vijay by the collar, slamming him against the wall.
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
(furious): "How dare you, Vijay?! They trusted you! We trusted you! And you vanished like a coward!"
Vijay coughed, gasping.
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
"I–I had no choice! Please don’t hurt me!"
Rajendra threw a punch. Vijay collapsed onto the sofa, clutching his jaw.
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
(cold and ruthless): "After everything you did, you think I’ll just let you live in peace? You think building a family and hiding your past wipes your sins away?"
Vijay Verma (FL
Vijay Verma (FL'S FATHER)
(Trembling): "I told you the truth… please don’t drag my daughter into this…"
Rajendra leaned forward, his voice like ice.
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
Rajendra Singh Chauhan
"You have only two options now— Do what I say… Or I’ll burn down everything you’ve built."
Mr. Verma sat frozen, blood on his lips, fear in his eyes. Rajendra stood tall — calm, powerful, and deadly.
