Three months quickly passed in a blink of an eye.
Zhao Taziel often visit the Lin estate, carefully nurturing friendship toward the Lin family.
Each time he appeared, he was welcomed warmly by everyone. His calm, graceful personality easily won the love of Lin elders.
His rarely given sweet boxy smiles enhanced his allure, making everyone on the Lin family to do everything they could to receive his smile.
Despite his lack of talent in arts or music, no one cared or mind. Instead, they found Taziel adorable as he attempts to a paint a bird but end up with a duck.
When he tried to play the Guzheng, everyone flinched to the horrid sound. But no one could find it in their heart to criticize seeing how the young beautiful boy was doing his best to play.
Taziel had been so focused on plucking each string until one suddenly snapped.
Everyone panicked at the sight of fresh blood on white delicate finger.
Lin Kaein had been standing nearby watching the young boy play the Guzheng for his grandmother and mother.
At first, he had a small amused smile on his face seeing how poorly he ( Taziel) played yet still so lovable because he was trying so hard.
No matter how unskilled he learned Zhao Taziel was, Lin Kaein couldn't help but still find him adorable. Because the little boy was putting all his effort in everything he does, people found him more endearing.
As soon as the string snapped and cut Taziel little finger, Lin Kaein rushed to his side and took hold of his hand.
He had been worried but Taziel resisted and pulled back his hand from his grip. This caused Lin Kaein to frown.
The two had been good and close the first two months of their meeting. Then suddenly, Taziel pulled away from him. The last month, the litte boy had been avoiding him despite his normal visits to the Lin estate.
Lin Kaein took hold of his hand again.

Seeing how the little boy was pulling nervously on his fingers, Lin Kaein eyes softens.

Taziel sudden question startled Lin Kaein. All of a sudden, the young man was reminded of the playful, cheerful girl. His heart was conflicting as he was lost within his memoriy.
Amd because he was lost in thoughts, he missed the smirk on Taziel's face.

Lin-gongzi... it's best if we end our engagement
Taziel's words brought Lin Kaein back to reality. Before him, a small boy stood firmly with ckear eyes causing him to feel panic.

When he took gentle hold of his hand, Taziel didn't resist.
