CHAPTER 5
The wind was howling outside. Rain hammering on the window pane.
Another sound of shattered glasses can be heard. Lu Shi was panting.
Curses flying everywhere. She reeked of whiskey and resentment. She wanted to vent her anger.
She wanted to hurt someone!
Mrs kim Lu Shi ( taehyung's step mother)
"AHHHHHH!!!"
Another shout can be heard followed by a string of curses.
Mrs kim Lu Shi ( taehyung's step mother)
"HOW DARE HE!? How dare he disrespect me like that?"
Then she laughs like a mentally deranged woman.

"Taehyung ah! Taehyung! Very good! Let me play with you!
Meanwhile, Taehyung was sleeping comfortably in his room.
The sun is already high when Taehyung decided to get off his bed. He immediately dialed Mr Lee’s number telling him his itinerary for the day. He doesn’t want to spend any more time in the Kim’s Mansion.
True, the mansion is listed under his name, but he felt that there is too much negativity in this house. And he doesn’t need any negativity in his life.
He quickly washed his face and brush his teeth. He chooses to wear a casual black dress. Then he made his way out of his room with his duffle bag.
However, fate had another plan for Taehyung. He was already on the foyer when he heard his father’s voice. He couldn’t help but roll his eyes.

‘It was just morning ah. And luck is already not in his way.’

"Hey! Are you listening to me?"
This brought back Taehyung from his thoughts. He looks at his father. He still had the same sharp features.
To be honest, if someone would ask him, he wouldn’t say that his father is good-looking.
Now that he thought about it, he couldn’t help but notice that they actually have no resemblance whatsoever.

"Hey! Are you deaf? Are you ignoring me? Hah! So this is what you get by staying abroad?"
His father lashed out. He tried to remember the words that his father said earlier. But it seems that he couldn’t remember anything. He wondered how did he become so absent-minded lately.

"Sorry, I didn’t hear you."
Taehyung shrugged without halting his steps as he continued walking down the hall.

"Good! Very Good! You are showing just how ungrateful you are. The gods must have punished me for not raising you well. You are a bad egg to this family! How embarrassing. You are just like your mother!"
Mrs kim Lu Shi ( taehyung's step mother)
"Dear, calm down. Taehyung-ie is just tired from his flight yesterday. He just forgot to inform you."
He heard Lu Shi’s high-pitched voice trying to comfort his father. He smiled inwardly. He stopped walking and look at the couple sitting on the dining hall. He is waiting for a good show.

“ Taehyung-ie come here. I didn’t ask the servants to call you because I know you are tired. Come sit down and eat with us."
Lu Shi said with a big smile on her face as she gestured him to sit.
Taehyung obediently sat across Lu Shi. He didn’t say anything and just waited for the servants to prepare some utensils then he started to eat. He is indeed hungry.

"So, are you still going back abroad? You should just stay and continue your studies here. I’m sure the old Min Patriarch will understand."
Lu Shi was smiling while talking to him. Taehyung wanted to give this woman a standing ovation. Such an artist. He wondered why Lu Shi didn’t pursue acting instead.

"I should be staying here permanently."
Mrs kim Lu Shi ( taehyung's step mother)
Magnificent! Don’t worry. I will arrange everything. It is too late to start school but I’m sure we can do something about it. What do you think dear? Why don’t you give the headmistress of Seoul City’s International School a call?"
Lu Shi looks at Chanming. As expected,Chanming looks like he just swallowed a fly. His brows are furrowed. Anger visible in his eyes.
Chanming knew that taehyung is very smart. In fact, he was once called a genius during his elementary years. If Taehyung will go to the same school as Ha-Yoon, then he will surely overshadow her.

"It is almost the end of the year. The school won’t accept any enrollments this time. Especially now that the National examinations are coming."
He said. Chanming couldn’t hide the anger in his voice. This son of him is becoming more and more willful every day.
After somin’s death, taehyung directly requested his grandfather Min to send him abroad to mourn, away from his birthplace.
He then changed his mobile number so he couldn’t contact him at all. He didn’t attend his wedding with Lu Shi and didn’t even call in the past three years.
He is still asking himself why Taehyung suddenly become like this. He used to follow him all around asking for his attention.

"Hmm... Grandfather already took care of it."
He heard Taehyung said. He couldn’t help but grit his teeth. That Min old man is trying to isolate his son. Chanming is sure that Min Patriarch wants to protect Somin’s inheritance.

“Great! That is very good news. I will let Ha-Yoon know so she can help you. Are you going to stay in the dormitories as well? It would be great to-"

“Ha-Yoon?”
Mrs kim Lu Shi ( taehyung's step mother)
Oh. You haven’t met her yet. She is my daughter and your blood-related sister.
Lu Shi answered with a broad smile. Although Ha-Yoon is not as pretty as Taehyung, she knows that her daughter is the top student of her school.
She would love to see how her daughter will handle this ungrateful brat. Plus, the headmistress is also her cousin. She is getting excited with the thought of Taehyung’s aggrieved face in the future.

Taehyung replied, clearly uninterested. His reply startled Chanming. He had expected for him to throw a tantrum.
He didn’t say anything as he continue to look at him. He cannot seem to fathom this son of his. He seem to hate him. As if he knows about his relationship with Somin.
The thought of So min made him more angry. The fact that So min gave all of her assets to Taehyung was a great insult to him as her husband.
He force to swallow down his anger. He will do everything to get some of the company shares and properties back.
While Chanming was busy scheming, Taehyung decided to consume his food quickly. The show that he was expecting is so boring. He was highly disappointed.

“I won’t stay here or the dormitories. I’ll come back tonight to get some of my things."
He said as he get up and he strutted his way out of the house without waiting for their response. Eventually, he reached the parking lot adjacent to the mansion. He waved at Mr Lee who was standing next to a tinted black BMW. Then he handed his duffle bag before going inside the car.

"Make sure to give the bag to grandfather when we arrive."
He told Mr Lee as they started to leave the gates of the Mansion.
