The Dead That Returned chapter 2

The male passenger, who had previously seemed unconscious, suddenly started biting at the staff member who was trying to revive him. The staff member cried out in alarm and struggled to free himself from the grip of the crazed passenger.

The crazed passenger bit into the staff member's flesh, tearing off a chunk of skin and flesh from his arm. The staff member yelled out in pain and fell back, clutching his arm in horror.

The injured staff member tried to stumble to the door to seek help from the train's conductor, but his weakened state prevented him from staying upright. He fell down onto the floor, narrowly missing a nearby seated passenger.

The injured staff member, now infected and turned into a crazed zombie, got up from the floor and lunged at the nearest passenger, attacking and biting them. The infected passenger then attacked others nearby, infecting them in turn and creating a chain reaction of violence and chaos.

The chaos spread quickly throughout the train carriage, as terrified passengers scrambled to escape the biting attacks of the infected. Some tried to fight back, using whatever nearby objects they could find to defend themselves. Others simply cowered in fear and hoped to escape unscathed.

The few remaining uninfected passengers managed to escape into three separate train carriages, shutting the doors tightly behind them to keep the infected at bay. They were left panting and shaking, trying to process the horror they had just witnessed.

The remaining uninfected passengers in the three different train carriages gathered together and relayed what had happened to them. Some of them were sobbing uncontrollably, still in shock from the attack. They exchanged concerned glances and feared for their safety.

the noises were indeed coming from inside Valeria's train. As she got up to investigate, she could see that the other passengers nearby were panicking and talking frantically among themselves.

Valeria asked the passengers nearby what was going on, and they explained the chaos that had unfolded. They told her about the infected passenger who had attacked the staff member and spread the infection, turning many others into bloodthirsty zombies. Valeria felt a shiver of fear run down her spine as she listened to their horrifying tale.

Valeria cautiously approached the door leading to the rest of the train carriages, her curiosity piqued. As she drew closer, she peered through the small glass window, wondering what she would see. To her shock and disbelief, she saw the infected passengers roaming the train carriages, searching for fresh victims to attack.

Valeria felt a wave of realization wash over her as she recognized the infected passengers for what they were - the creatures she had been training to battle. Her heart pounded in her chest, realizing that what she had once considered a far-off threat was now right in front of her, causing havoc on the train.

Valeria's thoughts went back to her time in the army, remembering how she had left that life behind. The creatures she was facing now were the reason why she had made that decision in the first place. She had wanted to escape from the constant battles and the violence, but here she was, face to face with the very creatures she had been trained to fight.
