Chapter one

Amelia Hudson is a happy and vibrant girl she lives with her parents and two younger siblings Anna and Andrew. She is almost finished with high school and ready to go to university.

(she is at school sitting with her boyfriend Mike and her best friend Mia)

Mia: I really don't like school, it's so tiring.

Amelia: I feel you I feel like I could just collapse at any moment. Hey babe what about you how do you feel right now?

Mike ( distracted by his phone) huhh ?

Amelia:I said how are you feeling?

Mike: great.(a text pops up on his phone)

Sorry babe I have to go.

Amelia:it's fine you can go (he kisses her on the forehead)

Mike:bye love you.

Amelia: love you too.

(Mike leaves, Mia then taps Amelia's arm)

Mia: don't you think your boyfriend is acting a little weird these past few days he seems distant and always smiling with his phone heck he even hangs around less with you.

Amelia: you're just being paranoid maybe he has a lot on his mind, or he is busy with something.

Mia : he is busy with something alright, and I am going to get to the bottom of it trust me.

(school ends and Mike is driving Amelia home when a text pops up on his phone when Amelia wants to take the phone and give it to him, he quickly snatches it from her)

Amelia : what the hell Mike I just wanted to pass you the phone why snatch it so violently?

Mike : why are you yelling?

Amelia: I'm not yelling I just want to know what's happening to you. You seem distant and cold these days are perhaps seeing another girl if so tell me.

Mike : what are you blabbing about? I'm not cheating okay .

Amelia: if that's the truth let me see your phone.

Mike: what ? No why do you want my phone.

Amelia: why are you refusing with it if you are not cheating?

Mike : it's my phone .if you think I'm cheating that's on you. In fact, you can walk the rest of the way home.

Amelia : Fine

(she gets out of the car and starts walking Mike zooms past her with his car leaving her behind as she is walking she keeps hearing footsteps behind her but when she looks back no one is there.)

Amelia's subconscious: that jerk he really left me and I keep hearing footsteps behind me.

Just then she hears thunder, and it begins to rain .

Amelia:ugh great now I'm going to get wet

(She arrives home completely drenched)

Amelia: I need to take a bath.

(As she is climbing the stairs her younger sister Anna comes after her.)

Anna: Amelia could you help me with my homework Andrew doesn't want to ?

Amelia: okay Anna let me go take a bath then I'll come and help you okay ?

Anna: okay
