The rain falls softly as a humble church door creaks open. Three infants lie on the doorstep, wrapped in blankets—one in black, one in green, and one in white-gold cloth embroidered with an unfamiliar crest.

Asta charges into the room with a broom like it’s a sword.

He trips over a bucket and almost crashes into a lit lantern on the table.

Kotoha nervously picks at her sleeves, pretending nothing happened.

Later that day, Yuno scrapes his hand while climbing a tree to grab a fruit. He drops down, clutching it with a frown.

Kotoha walks over, frowning slightly. Without thinking, she puts a small hand over his.

A soft light glows from her palm. The scrape mends instantly. Yuno blinks and stares at his now-uninjured skin.
