Morning. Jungkook’s private house in the, kitchen Taehyung fumbles with breakfast. Jungkook enters groggily.

Taehyung

(holding a burnt slice of toast) "Is it supposed to smell like... smoke? (・–・;)ゞ"

Jungkook

(monotone) "You tried to cook?"

Taehyung

(defensive) "I googled how to use a toaster! It betrayed me! (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻"

Just then, Jin barges in with a cheerful grin and a bag of groceries.

Jin

"Ah, newlyweds burning breakfast. So cute. Where’s the honeymoon playlist? (¬‿¬ )"

Jungkook

(deadpan) "I regret letting you be the witness. ಠ_ಠ"

Jin

(sniffing dramatically) "Smells like love. And charcoal. (￣﹃￣)"

Taehyung hides the toast behind his back awkwardly.

Jin

(teasing) "Don’t worry, dear. Jungkook survives on rage and coffee anyway. (≖‿≖)"

Jungkook

(glares) "Hyung. Leave. ಠ_ʖಠ

Jin

(grinning) "Rude. I just came to check on my married brother and his cute secret husband. That’s what family’s for! (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ"

Taehyung

(blushing, softly) "I’m not... cute."

Jin

(mock gasp) "Excuse me?! You married Mr. Ice Cube! You’re definitely the cute one. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧"

Jungkook silently tosses the toast in the bin, looking mildly done with life.

(muttering) "I should’ve eloped alone. ಠ∀ಠ"
