Breakfast went on - forks clinking, cups tapping, Arzhel stealing glances at his sister now and then.

Arzhel leaned in closer, lowering his voice.

A head shot up from underneath the table, right in front of him.

His ghostly face was too close for comfort, giving him a casual grin and a wave like, 'Yo'.

Arzhel choked on his bread.

He bolted upright, knocking his chair over with a loud clatter.

Everyone in the room - his dad, mom, big bro, big sis, and the maids - turned to stare at him like he'd just lost it.

Even the family dog stopped chewing his toy.

Zayden, meanwhile, just floated up through the table, waving again.

He yelled, backing away.

Arzhel spun around to his sister, desperate.

Zayden did a little spin in the air and dramatically fake-fainted across the table.
