Say Yes
Jasmine Watson(fl)
(She stared at the message long enough for the screen to dim.)
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
*previous message* "Do you want to see me again, little flame"?
"Say yes, and I’ll make you forget every rule you’ve ever made."
The flame-shaped charm around her neck felt heavier, warmer—like it pulsed in time with her heartbeat.
This was reckless. Dangerous.
Every instinct she spent years building screamed for distance.
And yet…
her thumb moved before your logic could interfere.
Jasmine Watson(fl)
She typed:—
*Yes.*
She didn’t add anything more. Not a time. Not a place. Not even a name.
She didn’t need to.
An hour later, another message.
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
(Texts her )"Black car. 8 PM. Be ready. No questions."
"Wear something that makes you feel powerful."
The car arrived exactly at 8. Black. Sleek. Tinted windows.
The driver didn’t speak, only nodded as she slid inside, her heartbeat a thunderstorm behind her ribs.
The car pulled away from her , quiet street, swallowed by the dark.
No music. No destination announced.
And then—
Tall iron gates.
A private road.
A mansion that looked like it was carved from shadow and silence.
Inside, the warmth of a fire greeted her—but it did nothing to settle the chill in her spine.
Then she felt him.
Lucien didn’t announce himself. He appeared.
Dressed in black, like sin in human form, he stepped from the shadows and stopped only inches away.
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
(His eyes—smoldering, unreadable—dragged over her slowly. Appreciatively.)
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
“Good girl,” (he murmured.) “You said yes.”
Jasmine Watson(fl)
(She swallowed hard.) “You knew I would.”
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
(His smile curved like a promise she didn’t understand yet.)
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
“Of course I did. But I wanted to hear it from your lips… because now that you’ve said yes—”
He stepped closer. Close enough that her perfume mixed with his cologne, heavy and intoxicating.
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
(husky voice) “—you don’t get to say no.”
Jasmine Watson(fl)
(She should have flinched. Run. Fought.
Instead, she tilted her chin and whispered,)
Jasmine Watson(fl)
“Then take me where you want me.”
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
(Lucien leaned in, his breath brushing your ear.)
“Careful, flame. I’ll take you somewhere you can’t come back from.”
Lucien didn’t speak again for a long moment.
He just looked at her.
Like he was reading her—stripping every wall, every defense, with nothing but those midnight eyes.
She should have felt exposed. She should have run.
But all she felt…
was seen.
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
(Finally, he turned, speaking over his shoulder.)
“Come.”
Jasmine Watson(fl)
(Not please. Not if she want to.
Just a command. Quiet. Absolute.
And she followed.)
The hallway was dimly lit, lined with towering bookshelves and oil paintings in deep crimson and black. Everything in this house breathed elegance... and danger. Like beauty wrapped around a blade.
At the end, Lucien opened a tall set of double doors—revealing a room that looked more like a cathedral than anything else. Vaulted ceilings, walls of ancient stone, and at the center… a single chair. Heavy. Carved. Velvet black.
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
(He turned and faced her.)
“Sit.”
She hesitated. Not because she was afraid of him.
But because, deep down, she knew what sitting meant.
It meant she was his.
But still—she sat.
And when she did, Lucien moved closer… slowly… circling her like gravity itself.
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
(He knelt before her. His fingers ghosted over her knee.)
“You don’t know what I’m going to do to you.”
Jasmine Watson(fl)
(She didn’t look away.) “I don’t need to.”
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
(Lucien smiled. Not wicked this time—something darker. Something worshipful.)
“You’re already addicted to the ache, aren’t you?”
Jasmine Watson(fl)
(She nodded. Barely. Breath trembling.)
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
“Good,” (he whispered.) “Because I’m not here to break your body…”
Lucien Blackthrone (ml)
(His hand moved to her neck, cradling her pulse—not choking, not hurting—just claiming.)
“…I’m here to break your control.”
Jasmine Watson(fl)
And for the first time in years,
she let go.
She let the fire take her.
