Amanda why have you decided to torture yourself her father said, please let go and allow your mother to rest in peace where ever she is, we can't be living like this you have to move on he advised

Daddy you do not understand it is painful for me to let go Amanda said

I understand perfectly it is not easy but you have to try and remember you still have me by your side, I promise to change and make it up to you her. Daddy I will try and make and a change at least for the sake of my lost mom and you my daddy she said while sobbing her father hugged her and stroked her back feeling somehow relief of Amanda's fragility.

The demise of Amanda mother is almost six months now, Amanda though not fully comfortable around Jerry always act normal and composed so as to know his schemes. Jerry was surprised by her sudden change of attitude but goes along with it, maybe her mother's demise had thought her some lesson he reasoned, he had successfully convinced her to a dinner and that is the beginning of his plot, she must be with him for him to succeed, or he will silence her, his obsession for wealth had blinded.

She wanted to talk to her father but decided against it because even she did, he will solely leave everything for her to decide and she had decided to go at least to know ways of unmasking him and also pretend to be intimate to know his mind and motives towards her.

At a beautiful and quiet restaurant a young man none other than Jerry was seated patiently waiting for his guest, within a few seconds Amanda emerges from her car and instructed the driver to go back, that she might call him or take a cab to bring her home .

the waiter came and they placed their orders which he served them diligently they started refreshments and discussed different things.Amanda was more into his friends, family, personality whatever that would make her connect the dots about him, but he was not giving in, he flirts with Amanda and talks about work though he compliments Amanda's beauty, she finds him strange and ridiculous to be with.

Amanda was on the verge of telling him she was leaving when suddenly his phone rang and though Amanda couldn't hear anything from the other end but she was told that it was a close friend and his attention was needed immediately
