After an hour

(still puffing on his cigarette while completely immersed in the soothing rhythm of the ocean waves)

(snapped out of his trance when he suddenly heard someone sobbing)

(starts looking around for where the voice is coming from)

(gaze caught a young girl sitting on a rock by the ocean)

(sobbing)

(at first, try to ignore her)

(but something inside him starts to feel uneasy hearing her sobs)

(unknowingly starts walking towards her)

(can’t see her face as she’s sitting with her back to him)

As he approached her, his leg accidentally struck a rock, creating a noise that echoed through the area.

(stop sobbing hearing a noise)

For a moment, there is a complete silence with just the sound of the waves echoing.

Again... I've lost my everything 💔💔 (extremely low and painful voice)

(felt a slight ache in his heart)

(turned towards him)

(look into her tear-filled eyes)

(look into his emotionless eyes)

And the moment he caught a glimpse of her ocean-blue eyes, filled with extreme pain and innocence, he knew that his life was about to change.

Now, only time would reveal if it was for the better or worse.
