He again rubbed his eyes, wondering if it was all just a dream. But as he looked around, he realized he was in a completely different environment. The room was small, with traditional Korean-style furnishings and wooden floors. He threw off the covers and stepped down from the ondol-heated floor, his feet sinking into the cold earth.
As he looked down at himself, he gasped in surprise. He was wearing a hanbok, traditional Korean clothing, which felt strange and unfamiliar.
He stumbled out of the room, curiosity getting the better of him. The small house was simple, with a wooden frame and tiled roof. He saw a courtyard, a wooden gate, and beyond that, the rolling hills of a rural village.
He grabbed his hair as he tried to wrap his head around what had happened. How did he get here? Was this some kind of time travel? He had so many questions, but for now, he just explored the house, taking in every detail of this ancient world he found himself in.
He sat down on the bed, tired from the roaming but suddenly his head began to throb with a terrible pain. Suddenly, visions and memories started flooding his mind, but they weren't his own. He saw glimpses of a young boy, maybe around 17 years old, Named
