I don’t think I can do this anymore or even if I want to. What’s the point after all, waking up everyday to fight a new battle or to solve a new problem all this for what? I see myself falling into this darkness everyday Isha and it scares me that I don’t want to come out of it

Isha got up from the couch where she was sitting opposite to the jhula and walked towards ekagra standing in front him. She looked deep in his eyes and smiled softly.

That smile carried understanding, reassurance and confidence. No words were exchanged for a while they just kept looking into each others eyes knowing and trusting that the other understands what they mean. After a while she said softly

aap jaante hai hume aapka naam bohut pasand hai. “Ekagra” meaning Someone who persists, Someone who is focused, determined, firm and resolute. Ekagra is someone who doesn’t steer away from his path no matter how difficult it may be

Ekagra kept looking in her eyes and listening to her words. Her voice despite being soft and melodious held the kind of power and confidence that made her every word seem more resolute and firm like it was set in stone, it was as true as the sun in the sky and as inevitable as the sunrise after the stormy night.

Isha paused and sat beside him, she took his hand in hers intertwining their fingers and keeping them on her lap. She turned her face sideways towards him and continued
