During the rest of the party, the empress remained calm on the surface, but inside she was planning what to do to eliminate those wretches before they did it to her first.

After midnight, the celebration ended, and those who attended had new gossip to talk about in their homes.

At the conclusion of the celebration, everyone went to their rooms.

The empress was no exception; as soon as she arrived at her room, she secured the door and took off her dress, then went to take a bath and went to sleep naked. Luckily, she had eaten something in the middle of the celebration, or her stomach would have been empty.

The next day, as no one came to serve her, Yadira prepared herself, and after that she went to the dining room, where the duo of lovers were already gathered, and they had very marked dark circles, it seems that last night was busy.

Without giving it importance, she went to her place, which was the center of the table.

Soon the servants arrived to serve breakfast, and after that everyone leaves the dining room and leaves the diners there.

Being alone, Aurelio takes the floor.

"Empress, I have decided to take Miss Martina as a concubine, I hope it is not inconvenient for you, we have both already spent the night together, only your authorization is missing to make it official. It is what we deserve, we love each other," says Aurelio and Yadira smiles.

"What you do with your private life is not of my interest, besides, you have both been in a relationship of lovers for some time, what is the problem with being in public now?" Yadira asks with a mocking smile and both turn pale.

"Don't say such things, and if we are together it is because we love each other," says Martina and Yadira stops laughing and makes a disgusted face.

"Whether you love each other or not, it is not of my interest. Do what you want, just don't mess with me and everything will be fine," she expresses and then continues eating.

The two lovers also begin to eat, and at the end of breakfast, each goes to do their things. Yadira goes to her office to work.

A few hours later, a guard arrived looking for Yadira, and that guard informs her that the nobles are waiting for her in the throne room to discuss something important.

Without giving it importance, she takes her time, after all, that meeting was not scheduled by her.

When she thought it was time to go, she goes there with all the calm in the world.

Upon arrival, the nobles revere her and she goes directly to her place. There were the two usual lovers.

"Be brief with what you have to say, I have things to do and I don't have time to waste," Yadira assures and the nobles are left speechless, the empress has never treated them like this.

Given the circumstances, Aurelio steps forward and announces the following, after bowing.

"Empress, I have decided to take Miss Martina as my first concubine, I hope to have your support. Both of us spent the night together last night, the union was completed," says Aurelio after standing up.

Upon hearing his words, Yadira smiles maliciously, it is clear that that fool wants to see her humiliated.

"I already told you at breakfast, but if it is not clear enough, I must say it again; the relationship that you both have is not of my interest, you both already have a relationship of lovers for some time anyway, and being a public lover and seeing each other in secret, is the same," says Yadira with malice and the two involved turn pale.

Martina came to her own defense.

"You can't say such things so simply, besides you have no proof that young Aurelio and I are lovers," Martina shouts and Yadira got angry.

"In the first place, you don't come to shout at me here in my palace, being my cousin does not give you the right to disrespect me. You want proof of what I say? So be it," says Yadira with a unfriendly face, that little woman is yelling at her in her own palace, is something that causes her discomfort.

Immediately afterwards, the empress sent for a guard at the door, and then asked him to bring the maid who served Martina and Aurelio in her presence.

Quickly that guard goes out to do what is asked of him, while the atmosphere of the room was a bit depressing, a strong radiance was felt, and that was because Yadira's spiritual pressure was coming to the surface. All the nobles were sweating.

When the guard arrived with the maid, Yadira went straight to the point.

"I sent for you only to ask one thing: did you see blood on the bed sheet when attending to Miss Martina and Mr. Aurelio? Think carefully before answering, your life depends on it, lying to the empress is considered treason to the imperial family, and I suppose you don't want to lose your head as traitors do," expresses Yadira and that servant felt fear.

The two lovers were pale, they did not believe that Yadira was capable of doing what she was doing. She seeks to make it clear that both have been together for some time, and that last night was not their first night as a couple.

The servant, for her part, for a moment thought she saw the empress's eyes on fire, and that scared her.

As she has two children and parents waiting for her, she better not lie, it is not at all pleasant to die as traitors do.
