After an hour | Near the school alleyway
Cora walked down the school alleyway with a steady, composed stride—graceful, yet unmistakably determined from afar.
After a few seconds, she reached the spot Ellie had asked her to wait.
But... to her surprise, no one was there yet.Thus, she had no other choice but to wait.
ON THE OTHER HAND | WILLIAM'S SIDE
This morning had been oddly amusing for him.
He still remembered the strange girl he’d run into yesterday.
Actually... she was intriguing.
He’d met plenty of girls—
Some wanted something.
Some came with obvious, even malicious intent.
But her?
What was her deal?
He couldn’t quite figure it out.
Confused—
Yet curious.
Lost in thought again, he strolled lazily, almost absentmindedly.
Relaxed… but this time, his steps weren’t hesitant.
They were deliberate.

Light footsteps echoed ahead.
Soft, cautious… like someone trying to sneak away.

(He instantly went alert.
Moved closer, quietly, carefully.)
A few silent steps forward—
And then he someone. She's a girl.
A red-haired girl pacing in circles near a small corner.
Frustration radiated off her.
Her movements were sharp, restless.
She muttered curses under her breath, biting back rage.
As if—something hadn’t gone according to plan.

What's it's deal now..? ( he muttered in frustration)
Before he could even shift his position to confront her—
She darted off, stomping the ground with fury.

After a while, she reached another girl—one who seemed to be waiting.

(His brows frowned at her sudden change in demeanour)
The frustration vanished.
Her steps slowed.
She walked with a calm, almost helpless softness.

(He scoffed, an amused smirk tugging at his lips.)
Still standing behind the wall, unnoticed.. he watched—
Taking in every detail..

Hey! Have I made you wait too long..? ( in a guilty yet appeasing tone)

Oh..! Hey!! Not at all dude! I have just arrived! (smiling brightly at her, reassuring)

Let's go then! (determined yet soft concerning tone) (She smiles softly at her grabbing her arm in her hands tightly as she tries to reassure and motivate her)

I am so glad she didn't left me even after being threatened so many times by those bullies
they have problem with me .. Why to bully her!?
Today.. I will confront them properly and clear my name from whatever it is!
At least .. I would never let them hurt anyone innocent because of me..! (Feeling guilty and remorsed )

Humph! What a fool! (He scoffs and rolls his eyes in mixed emotions of disgust and anger as he comes out of the shadows as they leave. )
Note - He was listening to their conversation all along while being in a safe corner.
He recognized Cora instantly. The same girl from their conversation yesterday. He didn't expected to meet her so soon. And more... He never thought of her to fall into her friend’s little scheme so easily.
