She would read story or sing lullaby for him to sleep at night once he asks her about his dad but that night he woke up to pee and found his mom crying beside his bed. He was a sensible child and know his mother's hardship hearing from the old people in the village, he never asked for his dad or any demands or to buy toy and stuff{it's not like he didn't want, but he felt like not to trouble his mother}

He often thinks about his childhood when his mother knit sweater for him, and he clumsily learns from his mother and make scarf for her, when he gave the scarf he made she cried hugging him and explained how much she likes it and reluctant to wear so she kept in box like treasure. Vantae was smart, and his learning ability was good, not as exaggerated as genius or photographic memory, but smarter than average students always score in top three list ,and also like to learn new skills, or cooking for his mother

Everything was good until that day he come back from school [junior high school] received the report card, happy because he ranked 1st and thinking about how his mom will react after seeing result, But after coming home what greeted him was silent, his mom who is not even 40 but some of her hair turn white leaning on the table some tablets scattered on the table ,there is unknown number on still calling on the phone ,He had a bad premonition, but he ignored, more like don't want to accept the feeling He first picked up the phone and brought near his ear and heard a hoarse and deep voice from other side shouting is mother's name sound like he was shouting for a long time. After feeling the cold body and no breathing , At that point ,he understood everything that his mother was gone forever. He was starting at his mother, tear kept falling from his eyes The ambulance soon Take his mother to the hospital they take her to a room to gave her emergency treatment At that moment he was hoping his mother was fine Tae was sitting outside shivering, hand and feet turn cold fear of losing his mother he cried in despair. a nurse came to comfort him seeing his condition, and gave him a piece of folded paper saying it was his mother holding tightly

When he unfold the paper he saw his mom's handwriting with a sentence. "I am sorry tae Baby, You shouldn't give up like mom ok, chase your dream freely and make mamma proud" Some parts are blurred by the drops of tears ,his mother cried while writing, every stroke full of reluctant, helpless and determination

A man coming running and panting stand in front of him looking at him with red bloodshot eye Asking where is his mom and explaining he was his father looking with expected eyes Tae withdraw his gaze looking at the closed door the man knelt on his knees saying sorry again and again trying to touch him, but tae avoid his hand. After that he didn't say anything and sat beside him silently. It was his first time He saw his cheap dad He was wearing haute couture, messy hair with many white hair red bloodshot eyes, pale face look Haggard with slightly deep dark circles. He didn't felt anything special meeting his dad maybe because his mind is full of his mom's behind the closed door, living and death unknown. After a while The doctor and said they tried their best but can't save her. Tae was stunned his headache and feel his ear ringing couldn't hear anything what the doctor said after that When a nurse push his mom out someone was faster than me. That man hold moms hand, and cried. Yes, The 1.8 m tall man crying like a child in front of him At that moment he didn't felt pity but angry angry to himself and guilty of not being able to protect his mom and disgusted towards that man and can't tolerate him saying sorry and crying over his mother's death body , it's too late to say sorry, it's too late to make amends what's the point of saying sorry it can't bring back his mother Tae act before thinking and separate them and glaring at the man and said the first sentence to his father 'don't touch my mother'

Tae clearly saw the stunned look and heartache hearing what he said but ignore him and take his mom away with the nurse without glancing back. Tae always wanted his dad when he was little seeing his friends sitting on their dad shoulder , showing off what their dad brought for them Always thought what he would say to his dad when they met. Complain and act cutely how his mom work hard and how much he missed him. But after growing up knowing about life and death, he thought his father died or something so he felt sad and determined to work hard and live a peaceful life with his mother But after he's first meeting him kneeling saying sorry with unpleasant hoarse voice his thoughts was all about his mother inside the operation theater. Then he saw his mother in the coffin, his heart felt stuffy with resentment and grievance. He know he can't forgive himself or that man. After the funeral, he met again other party ask him to go back with him. Before he refused he said his mom died he called him to say her last wish is to take care of tae after he died and gave the address.

After hearing that he can avoid it and agreed While packing up, he found his mother's wooden box, His mom never let him open the box it's contain the gifts he gave to his mother, photos, a brocade box he know it, there my mom's jade ring it was for him. When he grew up it's his 18th birthday gift now it's my mom relic right ? he smiles bitterly and wear the ring while taking out and remembering about past, he found a diary. Tae hesitate for a moment then open the diary to read, In first page he notices a old picture of a band. It took some time to recognize the girl with smokey makeup, colorful hair and ripped jeans, emo look holding guitar is his gentle and loving mother. He placed the picture on it's place, flip the page to read the content. While reading, he can't help but crying, He found She wrote the diary after consulting a psychiatrist After finishing reading he found out his mother was suffering from depression, That night he cried and faint against the wooden box. After waking up in the hospital He had fainted because of high fever. He met his mother's friend aunt Jinny, Giving his dad cold shoulder asking if he could come with her and will adopt him as her godson. But of course he followed his mother's wish even if he doesn't want to He didn't felt angry on his mother for making decisions for him. How could he, That was his mother who suffer and endure so much for him. If it wasn't for him maybe she could be a carefree girl casing her dream. He heard from his aunt Even taking her last breadth she was worried about me.

Sumin's Story Third person POV

Tae's mom Kim sumin was a stubborn, and willful with ambition Maybe because of the environment She grew up in Her mother was gentle, kind and timid woman Her father was a drunkard who beat the mother and child later when coming home drunk, he caught between fight of gangster and died After growing up seeing those idols and actors in TV She decided to be an idol and be loved by thousands of people. She starts practicing guitar and join a band. There was 5 people in the band Kim Jinny , Kim Sumin ,Kim namjoon ,Kim Jungkook, Kim j hope The group name was **The Kim's** Jinny and namjoon was dating. Jungkook was an orphan J hope had a crush on Sumin. And even join the band because of her He always cheerful like a ball of sun his nickname was Sunshine They were quite famous and poached by Light Entertainment Only two people were selected Jungkook (because of his voice) J hope (Dance skill) The throw party for both and also disband of **The Kims** That night after the party J hope confess to Sumin But sumin reject him. J hope was heartbroken and went abroad and since then never showed up Sumin was guilty but also relieved for not holding back J hope. That day She went home and shocked to find her mom lying on the cold floor. She immediately called the ambulance, after a brief check up she found her mother has tumor in her brain. That night she cried hugging her knee the next day she was like a new person Cut her color long hair short, dye it black. Her aura also changed like a new person She found part-time jobs as barista, sending flyers, cleaner in hotels. She earns money for her mother's treatment. One day he rescued a old man after sending that old man to hospital she didn't take it seriously. But after few days someone come ask for her. Then she knew that old man was grandfather of the CEO of Starlight Entertainment. That man said after meeting her ,seeing her kindness, that old man liked her and want her to be his granddaughter in law. Sumin refused, but the man said his grandfather has weak heart, if he can't bear the rejection and had heart attack she would be accountable Sumin was at a loss, the That man propose to had contractual relationship. She had to pretend to be his wife for 1 year and in return He will help Her mother's surgery, assigned the best doctor from abroad. Sumin hesitate and decline. That man say to think about it and answer next day After leaving she first went to hospital to see Her mother's condition. her mother tried to commit suicide many times saying she doesn't want to be her burden

The next day she agreed Sumin thought it's only 1 year They were like two strangers living together Sumin's mother had surgery, but it's failed said the patient doesn't have the will to live. That man comforted her , slowly their relationship become better and slowly develop felling for each other. one day while celebrating sumin's birthday they got drunk and had s** As the date of ending the contract come closer Sumin was sad And restless. She falls ill, vomiting, always fell sleepy so he went to hospital And found she was pregnant After that she wanted to discuss with Tae's father, but he was avoiding her since the accident on her birthday. Sumin anxiously went to his company to tell him, but she heard from the employee gossiping, boss's girlfriend or boss's collage crush. Sumin had a bad feeling so she went to office to see that man hugging a girl intimately. Sumin was shocked and heart brother and wanted to confront that man but realized. In what right she will question him, they are in contractual relationship. Even they had se* it was an accident. She went back home dejected. Yes love make even the strongest person timid. Then it's Sumin who ignore him. Until the date of the contract end ,she left without saying anything. Thinking about the little life in her belly she felt guilty. and left to remote village far away from the place where she suffers. But all those experiences mace once carefree, stubborn, energetic girl had inferior complex, timid ,and depressed

After moving out I transferred to another school I studied hard and enrolled to key high school and lived in dormitory to avoid his father because every time he met him ,he can't control his anger or partly maybe because of puberty. After graduating from high school I wanted to move out and choose medical collage, He told his mom when he was kid He wanted to be a doctor and treat people's illness. But his unwanted father didn't told him and cancelled his application and wanted him to study in finance major, he said he want to pass me his company. I felt controlled and run away from home to other city and coincidentally encounter by a talent scout. He thought about the old picture of his mother and what his aunt Jinny said about his mother's dream. He signed the contract bud didn't know it was a trap. It was a contract of 10 years with high liquidity damage.

He work hard, maybe because of his talent of Learning thing He learns quickly about acting, singing etc Because of his talent he was always bullied by senior, The company even forced him to accept unspoken rules, but he rejected results he was suppressed.

he cheap dad wanted to help him breach the contact and pay liquidity but Tae refused, he would even seek help from strangers but never from his cheep dad. But maybe that man help secretly, all those oppositions, and malicious thing stopped and the company also support him. He slowly become famous have many fans and also heaters also he heard about uncle Jungkook, After signing light entertainment, He was also suppressed and the company takes his music script and gave to other senior who have some background. Jungkook collect their crime and wanted to expose but was killed. Tae cried, and his heartache, anger and felt sad and confused, he didn't meet uncle Jungkook, but why is he so sad? Maybe it would have been also his future, if that old man didn't help. Tae sue them and hold justice for Jungkook. But He was always in daze hearing jk's song These go on and Tae slowly became famous and perfect his acting and finally won Voskar Award of the best actor. He fulfilled his mother's dream. Also, the 10 years contract coming to end. He was 28 in his prime, After winning the award his cheap father call hopping he could take over his company, while coming back who would have thought he will die in and accident and reincarnated into the novel he had read
