Jay Mehra and his wife Sarita Mehra had come to Banaras for a visit for a few days.

This is a famous city of Uttar Pradesh state of India. There are many places to visit here.

Jai Mehra and Sarita Mehra visit Kashi Vishwanath temple on the first day

See it as the most prominent temple in Banaras, and some consider it to be the most important temple in the whole country. Let me tell you that the story of this temple is more than three thousand five hundred years old. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the 12 Jyotilingas, to see millions of people every year to visit. Many devotees believe that a glimpse of Shivling purifies your soul and takes life on the path of knowledge. I believe that you should start seeing the Benares from this place. ( इसे बनारस में सबसे प्रमुख मंदिर के रूप में देखते हैं , और कुछ इसे पूरे देश में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण मंदिर मानते है । आपको बता दे इस मंदिर की कहानी तीन हजार पांच सौ साल से भी अधिक पुरानी है । काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर 12 ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से एक है , जिसके दर्शन करने के लिए हर साल लाखों संख्या में लोग यहां आते हैं । कई भक्तों का मानना है कि शिवलिंग की एक झलक आपकी आत्मा को शुद्ध कर देती है और जीवन को ज्ञान पथ पर ले जाती है । मेरा मानना है कि आपको बनारस में घूमने की शुरुआत इसी जगह से करनी चाहिए । )

Both of them visit Kashi Vishwanath temple very well.

The next day both of them go to Assi Ghat to roam around and have darshan.

Assi Ghat is considered to be the place where the great poet Tulsidas died. The southern ghat of this place is the most popular among tourists. To see this place daily, the number of people keeps increasing every 1 hour and the number increases even more in festivals. The Assi Ghat is located at the confluence of the eighty and the Ganges rivers and is famous for the large Shiva Linga installed under a peepal tree. This ghat has extreme religious significance and it is also mentioned in Puranas and many other things. Assi Ghat is the heart of Varanasi and locals, as well as tourists come there to enjoy the amazing view of sunset and sunrise in the Ganges. ( अस्सी घाट को वह स्थान माना जाता है जहां महान कवि तुलसीदास का निधन हुआ था । इस जगह का दक्षिणी घाट पर्यटकों के बीच सबसे लोकप्रिय है । रोजाना इस जगह को देखने के लिए लोगों की संख्या हर 1 घंटे में बढ़ती रहती है और त्योहारों में तो संख्या और भी ज्यादा बढ़ जाती है । अस्सी घाट अस्सी और गंगा नदियों के संगम पर स्थित है और एक पीपल के पेड़ के नीचे स्थापित बड़े शिव लिंग के लिए प्रसिद्द है । इस घाट का अत्यधिक धार्मिक महत्व है और पुराणों और भी कई चीजों में भी इसका उल्लेख किया गया है । अस्सी घाट वाराणसी और स्थानीय लोगों का दिल है , साथ ही पर्यटक गंगा में सूर्यास्त और सूर्योदय के अद्भुत दृश्य का आनंद लेने के लिए वहा आते हैं । )

Both of them visit Assi Ghat very well and they both get a lot of peace after going there.

On the third day both of them go to Ramnagar Fort.

Ramnagar Fort is believed to have been built by Raja Suchet Singh, who died in 1844. His wife performed sati nearby. There is a Samadhi of Maharani at the site where the sati was performed. The fort was renovated and undertaken by the Archaeological Survey of India in 1972. ( माना जाता है कि रामनगर किले का निर्माण राजा सुचेत सिंह ने करवाया था, जिनकी मृत्यु 1844 में हुई थी। उनकी पत्नी ने पास ही सती की थी। जिस स्थान पर सती हुई थी, वहाँ महारानी की समाधि है। किले का जीर्णोद्धार और जीर्णोद्धार 1972 में भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण द्वारा किया गया था। )

On the fourth day they both go to Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple

The Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple is a Hindu temple in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India dedicated to the Hindu deity Hanuman, in his form as "Sankat Mochan," meaning the "reliever from troubles". ( संकट मोचन हनुमान मंदिर हिन्दू भगवान हनुमान के पवित्र मंदिरों में से एक हैं। यह वाराणसी, उत्तर प्रदेश, भारत में स्थित है। यह बनारस हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय कॆ नजदीक दुर्गा मंदिर और नयॆ विश्वनाथ मंदिर के रास्ते में स्थित हैं। संकट मोचन का अर्थ है परेशानियों अथवा दुखों को हरने वाला। )

On the fifth day both of them go to Dashaswamedh Ghat.

Dashashwamedh Ghat is a main ghat in Varanasi located on the Ganges River in Uttar Pradesh. It is located close to Vishwanath Temple. There are two Hindu legends associated with the ghat: according to one, Brahma created it to welcome Shiva, and in another, Brahma performed 10 Ashwamegha Yajna, Dasa-Ashwamedha yajna. ( दशाश्वमेध, वाराणसी में गंगातटवर्ती सुप्रसिद्ध स्थान है जिसका धार्मिक और ऐतिहासिक महत्व है। काशीखंड के अनुसार शिवप्रेषित ब्रह्मा ने काशी में आकर यहीं दस अश्वमेध यज्ञ किए। शिवरहस्य के अनुसार यहाँ पहले रुद्रसरोवर था परंतु गंगागमन के बाद पूर्व गंगापार, दक्षिण दशहरेश्वर, पश्चिम अगस्त्यकुंड और उत्तर सोमनाथ इसकी चौहद्दी बनी। )

Like this they both go to many places and roam around Banaras very well. When they both are returning from Banaras, Jai meets his old friend Vishambar.

So both of them stay for a few more days in Banaras and roam around other places together. A day before they were to leave, Vishambar asks them to come to his house.
