Rani couldn't help hearing more from her husband, so she abruptly decided to walk away, to her room.
Firstly, the depression was taking over her, thinking about her little girl, alone, somewhere. She might be in hunger or in pain, or god forbid, something worse.
Secondly, her husband, the supposedly "the peace to all her worries", refuses to listen to her.
Secretly, she wished too that she would've been less harsh to her only child.
She knew about Urvi's wish to not marry..
She knew about Urvi's stubborn nature..
She knew about this marriage being nothing more than a deal between two kingdoms.
She knew about the response of the Prince of Diwangarh if this sacred marriage was broken..
But what could she even do. If someone goes against the will of the King, the punishment will be in such a way that the receiver would never be able to be called a person again by anyone.
As much as Rani wanted her little girl to return to her arms, she also wished that she was never found otherwise, either she would be killed or be given away to a person as bad as her father.
The low voice murmured in the room.

The hallways were still tense and silent like before. Just the faint fragrance of death filled the atmosphere.
Rani sat in the covered projected balcony of the courtroom.
Her eyes trailed on her husband, worriedly pacing on the floor.
The steps of the Diwan servants approached the courtroom, followed by the sound of his royal highness himself.

The stutter in his speech clearly showed the terror inside his mind.

The aura of the person that stood in front of him was so strong that when the eyes of the speaker meet his, his gaze would flicker.

Rani's forehead scrunched with distress as the words part with his highness' lips.
Things that were now going to unravel held such a great power, that either it would prove to be maddening, if prosperous or too destructive and deadly to be comprehended.
The future held a lot for all the people in its hands but not everyone could be ready to receive the gift from the giver.
