abuse him
I walked in to the main door I could sense it from air that something was wrong
Liya’s uncle stood swaying in the doorway, the bitter stench of alcohol thick around him. His eyes, half-lidded and glassy, scanned the room with a dull fury, as if searching for something to blame. Even in his half-drunken state, his presence cast a long, dark shadow over the house.
Wells (liya uncle
*saw liya at the door*
Wells (liya uncle

Liya
*slowly walk towards his uncle*
Liya
*stand near the sofa* what is it uncle
Wells (liya uncle
you think you safe in there ? *came the muffled thread *
Liya
Liya said nothing. He just slid to the floor, clutching his knees, praying silently for morning light.
Wells (liya uncle
he walk closer to liya and try to touch his tender soft skin
Liya

Wells (liya uncle
touch his ass squeeze it tightly
Liya
*push his uncle away run to the bathroom and lock it inside*
Liya didn’t sleep that night.
Curled on the cold bathroom floor, he listened to his uncle’s angry footsteps pacing outside, to the muttered curses that slowly gave way to silence. At some point, the sound of a bottle shattering broke the stillness, followed by the heavy thud of a body collapsing onto the couch. Then, nothing.
But Liya didn’t move. Not until the sun began to bleed softly through the bathroom window, painting the walls with a dull gold light.
The next morning, the world outside seemed unchanged—birds sang, sunlight warmed the walls, and neighbors went about their lives as if nothing had happened. But for Liya, everything felt heavier
He had come back. He didn’t know why exactly—maybe fear, maybe habit. Maybe because he didn’t know where else to go. The streets were no safer than home, and at least here, he could predict the pain.
Liya

“You’ve been buried in those books all day,* said with a playful smirk, brushing Liya’s hair back*. You planning to marry your textbook or something?

The next few days passed like fog.
Ben and Liya’s lover were always around, laughing a little louder, whispering a little closer. They said it was just jokes, just old stories. They never said anything that sounded wrong.
But Liya started noticing things.
Ben is my best friend, he told himself. He’s been there for everything. And he wouldn't betray me.
And his lover—they held me when I couldn’t even hold myself. They listened. They cared.
days are passed like soft footsteps
