Awakening II

Bloodline:

The air around Peace shimmered with an unnatural glow as the markings on her skin pulsed, illuminating the truth of her ancestry.

Blood from all ten creatures coursed through her veins, making her the ultimate hybrid—a being destined to unite, or destroy, all supernatural realms.

But as Peace’s awakening rippled across the world, the twin sister she never knew—born of the same bloodline—awakened in the Underworld.

In the shadowy depths of the Underworld, Daya Divan stirred.

The underworld demons, sensing her rise, bowed before her as she emerged from her dormant slumber.

Her presence exuded an aura of dread and power, the opposite of Peace’s radiance. While Peace represented unity and light, Daya embodied chaos and darkness.

In Pitadel, factions were moving.

The vampires and werewolves, already at odds, grew more desperate.

The wolves believed Peace’s blood would restore balance, strengthening their species against their growing vulnerability.

The vampires, ever calculating, viewed her blood as the key to immortality, an enhancement beyond their own.

Both factions were preparing for war.

Meanwhile, the lomen—mysterious beings with heightened intelligence and unparalleled stealth—emerged from their hidden colonies. Known for their silent ways and vast knowledge of ancient prophecies, the lomen had been waiting for Peace’s awakening.

They believed the Supreme One’s power was too dangerous for anyone to wield, and their sole purpose was to eliminate her before she could become a threat.

The mermaids, dwelling deep in Pitadel’s oceans, were divided. Some merfolk believed Peace’s power would renew their dwindling vitality and elevate their status among the creatures.

Others, led by the mermaid queen Nerida, saw Peace as a harbinger of destruction.

...----------------...

Back in the Underworld, Daya Divan was learning of her own destiny.

Unlike Peace, who was raised in secrecy, Daya had been nurtured by demons to harness her destructive abilities.

The markings of the RING burned red on her skin as she gained control over dark forces.

Daya’s awakening echoed through the Underworld, stirring ancient demon legions who revered her as their true Queen.

But Daya’s power wasn’t confined to the Underworld—it reached into the world of Life, influencing creatures prone to chaos.

Rogue spirits, phoenixes turned dark, and fractured witches began flocking to her banner, believing that her rule would break the chains of order and unleash boundless freedom.

...----------------...

Peace, still grappling with her newfound identity, began to experience visions.

She saw glimpses of her twin sister, standing atop a crumbling throne surrounded by fire and darkness.

In the visions, Daya whispered one word: “Balance.”

Lutecia, recognizing the importance of these visions, prepared Peace for what was to come. “The blood in your veins,” Lutecia explained, “is both a blessing and a curse. You embody all creatures, and with that, you hold dominion over them. But power is never without consequence. If you misuse it, you could destroy everything.”

Peace’s abilities began to surface.

She could command elements with ease—a talent inherited from the merfolk and lomen.

She could summon flames, a gift from her phoenix lineage, and her strength rivaled even the most ancient werewolves.

Her mind was keen, carrying the wisdom of the elves and the cunning of vampires.

Spirits gravitated toward her, sensing a connection to the very fabric of life and death.

But with each new power she discovered, the markings on her skin glowed brighter, and the divide between her and her twin grew stronger.
