Hopeless to Hopeful!...(Taekook)
make on
My mum sent me straight to my room, her coming along. She pulled put one of the dresses we bought and laid it on the bed.
Yoo-jung
Go take a long hot shower, and when you come out put on this dress.
Yoo-jung
Alright? No questions, just do as I say for once.
I groaned but entered the bathroom with a towel in hand. I stripped down to nothing
And tip-toed inside the shower, turning it to steam hot. I thought for a while, about life.
Taehyung
Am I the only one that does this?:
Reflects in the shower. Probably. But I wonder what kind of 'secret my mum and
Dad are keeping from me. Is it like an early birthday present? A house?
Or even better, is Namjoon coming home? Namjoon is my older brother, he's 21
And I haven't seen him in literally forever. He bought his own house when he was 19,
Because he got married to my sister-in-law named Jinnee. I know what you're thinking, he got married so early?
Well, in my family, it is tradition to get married so early. And no, it wasn't a love marriage.
It was an arranged marriage. For generations in my family, arranged marriages were the only types of marriages.
Even my parents were in an arranged marriage, but they fell in love on the way.
I know that I'm also gonna get married like that, but not so soon. I mean, age Nineteen is way too early.
Especially for a boy like me. But other than that, I miss my brother.
And I hope the secret actually does have to do with him. It'd be just amazing.
Twenty minutes later when I ended the shower, I dried up my wet body.
My towel was wrapped tightly around my waist, my brown hair dripping wet from the shower rain.
Glancing at the dress my mum had laid out on the bed, I smiled. But, why the need of a dress?
I shrugged, drying up and slipping it on. I gazed at my reflection in the mirror. Ugly. Worthless. Slút. Whòre.
The words came rushing back to me like a bullet shooting from a mile away. But,
They were all right. I was everything they said I was. I shook the thought away, calling my mum upstairs.
Taehyung
Mum, I put it on!
In less than a second or two, mum came into my room, smiling.
Yoo-jung
You look handsome.
but I knew that was a lie. She was my mum, she had to say that.
Yoo-jung
Do your hair, tae? Then meet your father and I downstairs.
I nodded as she left the room. Sighing, I went into my closet again. I sat on the desk in the middle of it,
Where all my objects and supplies were. I opened one of the drawers, and took out a curler.
After curling my hair . I smacked my lips together, satisfied with my work. I never liked make on anyway.
