"...Hm, I see. She is indeed a lovely robin."

Tia

"I really did it this time..."

From the jeweler's perspective, that young girl was a bad person and a thief-nothing more than a criminal, but...

I just couldn't accept blaming someone who was clearly in such dire straits that she felt she had no other option but to steal...

England might've been prospering, but everyone knew that East London was overflowing with people suffering from poverty.

I couldn't just stand by and watch him hurt that girl when we had no idea what'd driven her to steal.

But ultimately when it came down to it, the jeweler suffered a loss and the girl committed a crime.

"...I don't know if I was in the right or the wrong."

Tia

"But I won't have much of a budget for the theatre this month, that's for certain."

One of the little pleasures in my life was saving up some of my pay to go to the theatre once a month.

Tia

(I was supposed to save up ticket money from today's delivery, but I'll have to miss out this month.)

Tia

"Well, there's no sense in getting down about it now. I'll just have to find a way to save up a bit more."

"I'm back..."




