OUTSIDE THE BAR – NIGHT

Louis steps out of the bar, supporting Williams, who is heavily drunk. The street is quiet, and the night air is cool.

Williamson Augustine (ml)

(stumbling, mumbling) Ellie… Ellie… you came back…? 🥺

Louis Kingston( FL)

Williams are you ok??

He touches Louis' cheek gently, his eyes foggy with tears.

Williamson Augustine (ml)

Ellie… it’s you… right?

Louis Kingston( FL)

(softly, holding back tears) No, Wills… I’m Louis… Ellie’s cousin.

Williams suddenly blinks, realizing. He pulls his hand back.

Williamson Augustine (ml)

(realizing) No… you're not her…

He pushes her away roughly. Louis falls to the ground with a small cry.

Louis Kingston( FL)

Ahh…

She looks at her wrist — there's a light scratch, blood starting to show. She breathes out slowly and looks up.

WILLIAMS stumbles, about to fall — but Louis quickly gets up and grabs him.

Louis Kingston( FL)

(gritting her teeth) I got you… it’s okay… 😣

She waves down a taxi. It stops, and she helps Williams into the back seat.

TAXI – NIGHT

As the car drives, Williams leans heavily on Louis, his head resting on her shoulder. His arm wraps around her without even realizing.

Williamson Augustine (ml)

Softly, broken) Ellie… please don’t go… Ellie… 😞

Louis Kingston( FL)

(tears falling silently) Shh… don’t cry…

She gently caresses his hair, her fingers running softly through it. Her eyes are full of quiet pain as she looks out the window.

Louis Kingston( FL)

(whispers) You loved her too much… didn’t you? 💔

She leans her head on his lightly, just holding him through his heartbreak.

The taxi drives through the quiet night… carrying two people — one shattered, the other silently breaking.




