Saeki had gone out alone for a meeting with an old associate. Reo, suspicious, followed him in secret, sensing something off.
Turns out—he was right.
Gunshots crack through the night. Saeki’s surrounded. Outnumbered.
He fights like a storm—elegant, brutal, unforgiving.
But a bullet grazes his ribs.
He flinches.
And in that second—someone aims straight for his heart.

“Say goodbye, Saeki Renjirou—”
Reo (yelling):
“LIKE HELL HE WILL!!”
CRACK—
Reo slams into the gunman with a spinning kick, sending the guy flying.
He’s wild-eyed, panting, soaked to the bone.
Reo (growling):
“You don’t touch my family.”

They fight side by side, back to back.
Reo takes a punch meant for Saeki.
Saeki catches Reo’s fall and snarls like an animal.
Saeki (furious):
“You reckless idiot—why didn’t you stay with Renji?!”
Reo (spits blood, smirks):
“Because he still has one papa home. You didn’t.”

They finally win.
Silence. Blood. Rain.
Saeki’s arm is shaking as he supports Reo, who’s barely standing.
Saeki (gently):
“You’re bleeding.”
Reo (breathless):
“You’re crying.”
Saeki (choked):
“…I thought I lost you.”
Reo:
“You won’t. Not until I kiss that stupid scowl off your face.”
And he does.
Soaked in rain, bruised, breathing hard—but it’s real. Raw. Unspoken love that finally slipped through cracked walls.

Back at home – Renji asleep
Reo’s bandaged. Saeki sits next to him on the couch, unable to stop looking at him.
Reo (half-asleep):
“You okay, scary papa?”
Saeki (whispering):
“Only because of you, idiot.”

(Setting: A not-so-quiet grocery store, 8:46 PM)

*[Scene opens inside a small local supermarket. Bright fluorescent lights. Cheesy music playing in the background. Saeki Renjirou is pushing a shopping cart awkwardly while looking completely out of place in a black suit and tie.]
Renji (5 y/o)
(sitting in the cart, dangling his feet)
“Papa, can I have the dinosaur gummies? Pleaaaase?”
Saeki (27, deadpan)
"...Those things are 80% sugar and 20% pure chaos."
Reo (21, grinning as he grabs instant ramen)
“Oh come on, Saeki, let the kid live a little. Childhood trauma tastes better with gummies.”
Saeki
"Don't say trauma so casually in front of a five-year-old—"
Renji
“What’s trauma?”
Reo
“It’s what your Papa gives me every time he glares at me like that.”
(Renji laughs, Saeki rolls his eyes and mutters something under his breath. He clearly doesn't dislike this chaos—but he won't admit it.)

[Cut to: Reo holding up a bottle of suspicious red sauce.]
Reo
“Yo. This says ‘Dangerous’. Should we get it?”
Saeki
“Put it down.”
Reo
“What if I said it was on sale?”
Saeki
"...Two bottles."

[Suddenly, Reo freezes as he notices a figure outside through the store window. His smile fades. Saeki notices too, his hand slowly reaching toward the inside of his jacket—where his gun is.]
Renji
(still munching cookies)
“Papa, Reo... why did the lights just blink?”
Reo (quietly, calm but sharp)
“Stay close to the cart, Renji.”
[The store door opens with a ding, followed by heavy boots and silence. A man in a leather coat enters, glances around... then makes eye contact with Saeki. Tension fills the air like gas waiting for a spark.]
Saeki (low voice)
“Great. Just what I needed—grocery night with gunfire.”
Reo
“You handle aisle 5. I’ll cover frozen goods.”
Saeki
“No damage to the dairy section. The kid loves yogurt.”
Renji
(pouting)
“I like strawberry the best.”

[Fade to black as the screen shakes with the sound of a gun cocking offscreen.]
