War begins
By midnight, the war call echoed loud and clear across the territory.
Every wolf, every warrior, every alpha and beta stood in formation, their howls rising into the blood-red sky.
From the horizon, shadows crept forward—feral, snarling, eyes glowing with rage.
Jungkook mounted his black armored wolf, the fur along his spine bristling.
At the front, Doyun stood proud, his voice booming:
Jeon Doyun - Jungkook's father
This is our home. Our blood. Our legacy. Let them come—we will not fall.
And behind him, the next generation—Jungkook, Yoongi, the strongest of their kind—prepared to protect everything they loved.
Even if it cost them everything.
The forest never slept now.
For seven days straight, the eastern borders of the Silver Moon Pack echoed with the sounds of battle—teeth snapping, growls like thunder, and the sickening crunch of bones meeting earth.
Jungkook didn’t remember the last time he’d slept for more than an hour.
Day One had been chaos. The rogues came in waves, bloodthirsty and reckless.
But they hadn’t expected resistance that brutal—Jeon Doyun, the Pack Alpha, fought like a storm unleashed. Beside him, Jungkook’s movements were sharper, faster than they’d ever been.
Yoongi, though... Yoongi was a force of nature. No other word for it.
He didn’t just fight—he commanded the battlefield. Every time the front line buckled, Yoongi was there, teeth bared, claws drenched in blood, driving the rogues back.
He didn’t speak much, but warriors followed him without question. They had to. His presence meant survival.
By Day Three, they’d pushed the rogues back to the outer ridge. Burned corpses lined the forest edges, thick with smoke and grief.
The pack was surviving—but at what cost?
Jungkook stood near the training field that night, armor cracked, skin smeared in blood that wasn’t all his. The moon hung overhead, eerily still.
His hands trembled. Not from fear. From rage.
Jungkook turned as Yoongi approached, limping slightly. One eye was swollen shut.
There was a gash on his shoulder that soaked through the torn fabric of his shirt
Jeon Jungkook
You shouldn’t be out of bed,
Yoongi huffed a soft laugh.
Min Yoongi
Neither should you.
They sat beside each other without speaking. Their silence was loud—filled with exhaustion, grief, and something heavier. Something final.
Jeon Jungkook
I carried a boy’s body today,
Jeon Jungkook
He was fifteen. First time fighting.
Min Yoongi
Min Seo. His father was one of the original scouts.
Jungkook clenched his jaw.
Jeon Jungkook
I promised his mother he’d return home.
Min Yoongi
You did bring him home.
Yoongi’s voice was flat. Tired
Min Yoongi
It just wasn’t the way she hoped.
