I let out a small laugh at my own thought . I was beautiful , rich and famous , and I had everything that i ever needed or wanted . I didn't need a toxic little bug like him in my life . With a feeling of new found confidence , I reached for my phone on the bedside table , my fingers moving quickly to block his number .

With a small sense of satisfaction , i hit the "block" button with a firm tap . His number was blocked from my phone. I put the phone down on the bedside table, feeling a sense of relief that i had taken care of that problem .

Next i gathered all his memories , those photos we took together , all the gifts he had given to me , those letters , all those beautiful nights , his voice in my ears . Those memories were enough to make me sick in my stomach . I didn't want those memories of him anymore . Without a second thought, i threw them all in the fire .

I stood there and watch the fire burn up those memories. Memories of him who was supposed to be mine and mine only . Memories that had once made me happy now made me sick to my stomach . All those memories were gone , burned to ash . Now he was out of my life for good.

Next I made my way down the stairs, feeling more determined than ever. A sense of purpose was driving me forward, a sense of moving on with my life without him in it. When i entered the living room, i saw my father sitting on the sofa, reading a newspaper . He looked up and smiled at me .

I walked over to him and sat down on the sofa next to him, taking a deep breath

He closed the newspaper and looked at me , his eyes full of curiosity . "Sure, what is it ?" He asked .

I took another deep breath, gathering all my resolve and courage
