Taehyung only sent in a small amount of his spiritual energy, but it was enough to ease the flow within Jungkook’s body.. His body no longer felt as hot, and the pain on his face slightly faded.. However, the energy inside him was still moving chaotically..
Taehyung frowned.. This amount of energy wasn’t a big deal for him normally.. The problem was that Jungkook’s energy didn’t match his.. Their energies clashed..
If Taehyung was at full strength, he could’ve pulled the energy out, even if it hurt a little.. But his demon core was still cracked.. If it shattered completely, they would both be in danger..
He gently pressed his paw on Jungkook’s stomach again and started thinking..

Taehyung slowly helped spread the energy through Jungkook’s body.. It took time.. The power had been stuck for too long.. When he finally finished, he felt heavy and a little weak..
But Jungkook looked different now.. The pain was gone.. His face looked calm and healthy again..
Taehyung blinked.. That didn’t match how bad things were earlier.. And it didn’t feel fair either.. He had used up half of the energy he had been carefully saving since he woke up..
He glanced at the empty table and huffed..

As Taehyung's eyelids grew heavier, he curled up on Jungkook’s lower stomach and closed his eyes..
Taehyung shivered and let out a sneeze because of the cold but beneath him suddenly heated up like a stove..& in his half-dreaming state, it felt like a large hand gently held him from behind.. He turned over with a quiet hum and relaxed..
The warmth wrapped around him like a blanket, and the cold in his blood slowly faded away..
Taehyung thought and he stretched out his little paws and drifted into deep sleep..
The next morning, he woke up wrapped in a thin blanket..And the room felt warm, not icy like the night before..
He yawned and looked around—Jungkook was gone.. But before he could wonder too much, something else caught his attention.. The spiritual energy in the room.. it felt stronger.. fuller..
Just then a door opened behind him.. Taehyung looked back.. It was Jungkook..
After acting weird the whole day yesterday, he now appeared freshly showered.. His body radiated warmth, wet strands of hair clung to his forehead, and droplets still trailed down his abs..

While Taehyung stared at him, Jungkook pulled a robe over himself and walked over to the bed..
He reached out and gently patted Taehyung’s head..
Taehyung blinked sleepily, still groggy..
Maybe he wasn’t fully awake yet.. Because Jungkook didn’t press him.. Instead, he sat on the edge of the bed, sliding his hand down to stroke Taehyung’s back, his fingers brushing through the soft fur..
Jungkook squinted slightly as if he was enjoying the touch..
Usually, Taehyung hated being touched — it always made him feel gross.. But for some reason, he didn’t mind Jungkook’s hands..
Even with his thick fur, Taehyung had a cold nature.. In winter, he used to curl up deep in caves or shapeshift into his human form to bundle up in thick fur coats.. He hated the cold.. He hated feeling helpless because of it..

Now, lying under Jungkook’s warm palm, cozy and still, he felt completely relaxed.. Quiet for once.. Peaceful..
After sometime Jungkook picked him up, rubbing his tiny ears..

For the first time in weeks, his body felt clear and light.. The blockages had disappeared completely..
After his morning bath, Jungkook immediately contacted Suga, just to confirm that what he was feeling wasn’t a hallucination..
Now, looking back, he saw Taehyung curiously pressing the thermostat switch over and over..
Every time the air flow started with a soft hum, the little fox’s tail wagged with satisfaction.. His expression was so serious, so focused—it made Jungkook want to pat his fluffy head..
He held back.. Instead, he gently tapped Taehyung’s head and whispered..

Taehyung didn’t complain, though.. Because just like Jungkook said—there will be delicious food soon.. just thinking about it made hm drool already..
