(The air is thick with tension. Evelyn is trapped between two devils, both claiming her. Both dangerous in ways she doesn’t yet understand.)
𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒚𝒏 𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒂
Stop it. Both of you.
(Neither man listens. They’re locked in a silent war, a fight for control. And Evelyn is drowning in it. )
𝑨𝒅𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑹𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒆
(tilts his head) You look beautiful tonight, princess. Just like you did the night you ran from me.
(Her stomach turns) She remembers that night. The blood. The betrayal. The way she barely escaped him.)
𝑹𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒓𝒂
She’s not running anymore.(leans in, whispering) Are you, baby?
(A test. A threat. Evelyn swallows hard, her body tensing as she realizes—she has no good answer. If she denies Adrian, she provokes him. But if she denies the man who owns her now? She won’t survive it.)
𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒚𝒏 𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒂
I don’t belong to either of you.
𝑨𝒅𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑹𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒆
(Laughs) Oh, sweetheart. That’s where you’re wrong.
𝑹𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒓𝒂
(grins darkly) And the fun part? (low voice) You’ll have to prove it.
(Her pulse spikes. Because she knows exactly what that means. This isn’t over. It’s just the beginning.)
