(Taehyung’s breath hitches. He wasn’t expecting this conversation. Not now. Not ever.)
Jeon Jungkook
(forcing a chuckle)Jimin, you must be mistaken.
Park Jimin
(softly)Taehyung… you don’t have to pretend with me.
(Taehyung looks away, biting his lip. His hands clench at his sides.)
Park Jimin
I’ve seen the way you look at him. The way you always put him first.
Jeon Jungkook
(voice strained)Jimin… please.
(Jimin reaches out, placing a comforting hand on his arm.)
Park Jimin
I don’t want to hurt you,Taehyung. But I love Jungkook too.”
(Taehyung’s chest tightens, a bitter smile forming on his lips.)
Jeon Jungkook
Then you should be happy. He chose you.
Park Jimin
(whispering)But did he really?
(Taehyung looks at her, confused.)
Park Jimin
I don’t think Jungkook even realizes it himself… but you’ve always been the most important person to him.
(Taehyung shakes his head, stepping back.)
Jeon Jungkook
Stop, Jimin. Please. Don’t give me false hope.
(Jimin looks at him sadly, but she doesn’t push further.)
Taehyung’s dorm – Late at night
That night, Taehyung lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. Jimin’s words echoed in his mind.
Did Jungkook really see him that way? Or was he just fooling himself?
