Scene 1: George’s 17th Birthday

It’s George’s 17th birthday, and the whole family is gathered at home. George is sitting at the dining table, surrounded by birthday decorations. His mom, Linda, has made his favorite chocolate cake, and his dad, Carl, hands him a wrapped gift.

George (smiling): “Thanks, guys. This cake looks amazing.”

George laughs and opens his gift. It’s a brand-new camera, which he’s been wanting for his YouTube channel.

George (excited): “No way, this is perfect! Thanks, Mom and Dad!”

The day goes by in a blur of birthday wishes, cake, and excitement. George is still reflecting on the fact that he’s turning 17, and college is just around the corner.

Scene 2: High School Graduation

A few months later, George walks across the stage at his high school graduation ceremony. His family cheers from the stands as he receives his diploma, feeling accomplished but also nervous about the next step.

George (thinking to himself as he holds the diploma): “I’m done with high school… and now, the real adventure begins.”

Scene 3: Applying for College

Scene 4: Packing for College

With the acceptance letter in hand, George begins to pack his things for college. He takes his clothes, books, and, of course, his new camera. He’s ready to start a new chapter. His parents help him load the car with his belongings, and they all give him a big hug before he leaves.

Mom (Linda): “We’re so proud of you, George. You’re going to do amazing things at college.”

Dad (Carl): “Just make sure you keep up with your schoolwork. Have fun, but don’t forget why you’re there.”

Lucy (his sister, still chewing gum): “Take lots of cool videos, and don’t forget to call, okay?”

Grandma (Eleanor): “Good luck, my boy. I’ll miss you.”

Scene 5: Arriving at College

George drives to Brooklyn College, filled with excitement and a bit of nervousness. When he arrives on campus, he parks and grabs his bags. The campus is lively, filled with students walking around, chatting, and getting ready for the new semester.

He heads to his dorm building, where he’s assigned a room. He opens the door and finds his new roommate, a girl named Samantha, who is sitting on her bed, unpacking.

Samantha (looking up): “Oh, hey! You must be George. I’m Samantha, your roommate. Nice to meet you!”

George (smiling nervously): “Yeah, nice to meet you too. I guess we’ll be sharing this space.”

Samantha nods, and they both start unpacking their things. George puts his camera on the desk, thinking about how he’s going to document this new chapter of his life.

Scene 6: George’s First College Video

After settling in and getting comfortable in the dorm, George pulls out his camera, excited to make his first video from college.

George (to the camera): “Hey guys, what’s up? Welcome back to my channel! So, here I am, in my new college dorm room. It’s crazy to think I’m finally here, but I’m super pumped to start this new chapter in my life.”

He turns the camera around to show his small but cozy room.

George (narrating as he shows the room): “So, this is where I’m going to be living for the next year. It’s a bit smaller than my room at home, but it’s got everything I need. Got my desk, my bed, and of course, my camera setup for all the videos.”

He faces the camera again, his energy picking up.

George: “I’m here at Brooklyn College, studying media, and I can’t wait to share my journey with you all. You guys are gonna get to see me tackle college life, meet new people, and just have fun while working hard. I’m so excited to get this started!”

He pauses for a second, then smiles at the camera.

He hits stop on the camera, feeling satisfied with his first video from college.
