Avary POV

A few months past since my parents came back and well to me and my father is hanging out for our monthly father and daughter day that actually doesn't get to happen every month since his job anyway we're at the shooting ring and I'm almost beating him.

"So kiddo did your grandmother do while we were gone? "He ask so casual that it caught me off guard.

"No nothing. " I lied.

He chuckles "Don't lie Ava I know my mother now tell me what she did and don't worry about ruining anything you're my daughter you comes before her and plus if you lied I'm going to ask Diamond. "

I sigh knowing I'm not getting out of this and if he ask Diamond she's going to make sure my grandma doesn't see me again "Fine she was hooking me up on dates with her friends grandsons and sons trying to find someone for me. "

He sigh pinching the bridge of his nose "Of course she is I told her not to do that stupidness with you. "

I was starting to feel bad but he ruffle my hair "Don't blame yourself for anything kiddo. "

"You're sure papa? "

He smiled "Yes I am now let's continue our day and I'll deal with your grandmother later. "

I nod and get back shooting a hour later I last again to him.

I pout "No fair. "

He chuckles and sarcastically said "Of course it isn't when you lose. "

I pout folding my arms "You're mean. "

He chuckles again "want to go get your favourite food?"

I smile nodding "Yes."

We went to get my favorite father daughter day hang food aka both of ours alfredo ramen with fry shrimp and fries chocolate cake and sprite for the drink we ate and chit-chat and then after do some more actives and then went home there he confronted grandma, although I told him not too.

"Mom I don't want you looking after Avary anymore. "

My grandma looked surprised "Why not son? "

"Because you're trying to do the same thing to her that you did to Blake and me. "

"I don't know what she told you bu…"

She didn't get to finish before he cuts her off "No I don't want to hear it my child happiness comes before your out dated ideas. "

She was upset "Jake I'm your mother. "

"And she's my daughter end of conversation I'm not kicking you out or cutting you off not yet at least you're just not allowed to look after her again. "

She glare at me but changed back into the sweet old lady "But who'll watch her when you're out of town Jake? "

"Her uncle, aunt or even Diamond. " He said Diamond name smirking at me I sigh knowing he already knows some how.

"DIAMOND!" She scoffed like Diamond killed her entire generation I had to hold back laughter "Jake you think that bit…"

She was cut off again "As I told you end of conversation mother. "

And he walk away to his office and I practically skip to my room smiling Diamond was right tell papa felt good but I can't let her know that hehe he.
