Chapter 01- Waking up
The night was cool and calm, the moonlight illuminating everything in its path. The light seeped through a window and bathed the body of two figures on a bed.

*Her eyes twitched open, the soft mattress dipping under her weight as she lifted herself up. She stretched her arms out, cleaning her eyes then examined her surroundings.*

Alright, I'm in a room. Clearly not a hospital because what hospitals have such vintage windows. *Her gaze looked outside, the moonlight looking ethereal in the bedroom.* Well, I'm clearly dead. That's a fact. But since when was hell so pretty? I'm definitely not going up so...

*She thought to herself for a few minutes then decided to forget about. Whether she was in heaven or hell, she was already dead. If it was heaven, cool. If it was hell, at least it was pretty. She wouldn't over think it anymore.*

*She finally looked to her side and met the face of a man sleeping soundly. She was... quite calm for the situation, and she didn't think of it at all. She simply went back to sleep, completely ignoring the person sleeping next to her.*
The sun shined brightly as dawn came, the light illuminating the entire room in a warm golden glow.

*Elizabeth winced as the bright light hit her closed eyes, making her curl up to somehow avoid the light. She was on the brink of asleep and awake, her consciousness bouncing between the two.*
A little knock sounded on the door opposite of the bed. It sounded small and faint like a fading dream. However, the knock came a few seconds later in the same frequency and beat.

*Her body lowered in the bed then bounced back up as someone climbed out of the bed. The sound of the door opening was like the catalyst that finally woke her up and her eyes flickered open.*

*She looked to the door and saw a little body cautiously walking to the bed, as if afraid of waking the occupant.*

*The first thing she could think of was--* --"That thing is so cute!!!"
Then her brain started working again.

So, heads up--In case you couldn't tell but, this story is gonna be a lot more novel-esqe than chat story-esqe.

Is it because I have never written or read a fantasy chat story, or because it's been a while since I wrote a chat story and I kinda forgot the mechanics.
