Episode 11

Hyugo Aszevedo

I woke up a little early today, hoping to ask Clio to go out with me again.

As i open my cellphone, goes through his number dialed it a hundred times but no one seems to answer my call.

I call Jazz to ask about him but she doesn’t know neither.

I also did went to where i know he can go the tree house, his apartment, but he is nowhere to be found.

I have waited for Clio to go home for two days infront of his apartment but there was no trace of him, I also call the owner of the apartment to open up the room. But the room was empty, it there was no furniture.

The owner said that the owner of the room has already moved out he said that he forgot to put the “For Rent” sign because he was busy.

As i read the necessary documents for the company my secretary run to me and says “Sir, look what we had found at the surveilance camera.” he then gave me the usb which contains the video.

{FAST FORWARD}

I make my way to the entrance of the Vega Family,

“What’s the matter Mr. Aszevedo?” The old man says.

“Mr. Vega. You must be held accountable for your daughters action right?! here are the evidence that your daughter who you love will make your own company crumble.” I said giving him the envelope.

He opened it, analyzed the photos and documents.

“Inside it contains picture of your daughter using an illegal drug that causes her brain to get on a high level, She then put a heat drug on my drink which has lead me to make out on my office with her, and lastly her his drug dealer? of course her very bestfriend Ren.” I smiled and look at him, Leaving him knelt down on the floor.

“I will spare your daughter and your company with one condition.” I said.

“Wha..what do you wa..want?!?” he said with his head facing down.

“I want you to terminate the marriage contract between me and her, plus take off my company’s share and funds with your’s, i want that to be done as soon by tomorrow.” I leave and as i walk away “Oh and one more thing, if you tried to investigate this with your private investigator, i assure you Mr. Vega that i will bot be easy on you.” I then leave not waiting for him to answer back.

I called one of my men “I want you to go to the news factory, tell them to print about the daughter of the owner of vega company being a drug addict and say that she is a nepo baby and only wants some money.”

Months had passed i still can’t get a good amount of sleep because of everything that had happen between me and Clio, i want him, his touch, his presence, his laugh. everything about him i miss.

One of my family doctor called “Mr. Aszevedo please come to the hospital room asap.” Then she ended the call.

I accelerate my car to the hospital

”Your father has a stage 4 colon cancer, he has a higher chance of not making out of it considering his age, sorry to inform you Mr. Aszevedo.” Doc. Margaux.

For some reason my knees started to weakend and my eyes started to water, i ran my hands on my face.

Why somethings have to happened to me?!!!! am i that bad to you!? to everyone? dear lord.

I make my way to my father’s room

hugged him tightly

“Hyugo, my son.” he said on a low tone.

“Yes pa?” i replied.

“I had seen your perseverance through out you entire life, dedicating your life only dor your career. Now i want you to do what ever you think is better, i know that i have only weeks, maybe days of living but i want to sincerely apologize by what i did to you, i hope you will not dissapoint me. I love you kid.” Dad saying that as if he doesn’t have any kinds of illness and smile at me, he raised his hand waiting for me to reciprocate that fist bump.

Please Lord, What did i do to deserve all of this?!?
