So I will explain about each character in the story as per their role

It was the time of early 2000s

A small town of Elmwood

known to be the most spirtual and believed by their people

Ethan who was 19

And only son in his family

His father was a member of church and very famous about his beliefs and loyalty towards God

Ethan started working in a book store

A place of heaven for the people who want to escape the reality .

There he met Jake

Who just shifted here with his family including his parents

Their first meeting was nothing but a shared smile and an eye contact

But as time passes by

And as they met often at the book store

They both realized that their bond with each other is beyond just a friendship

They both realized that what they feel about each other was way more than friends .

Jake was openminded as well his parents

Meanwhile Ethan was scared and had a fear about the rules and beliefs of his town .

Ethan decided to not let his feeling grow

But Jake who didn't cared about anything else at all

Couln't let him go

So he confessed

But Ethan who was happy and sad at the same time knew that its not possible

he talked with Jake about it .

He knew his father would never let it happen .

Jake with his parents support tried his best to make Ethan get out with this pressure of his father and the people of their town .

One night

Ethan came home where his parents were sitting on the table .
