Falling for My Captive [Taekook]
A Game of Power
A few moments later, footsteps echoed through the parking lot as Jungkook approached with his best friend, Jimin, walking beside him.
Unlike the others from their university’s wealthy elite, Jimin carried himself with a quiet confidence, free from arrogance. Though he came from money, he was nothing like Taehyung and Eunwoo.
Jungkook stopped in front of Eunwoo, bowing his head slightly in apology.
Jeon Jungkook
I’m sorry for being late. One of the professors asked to meet me, so—
Before he could finish, Eunwoo scoffed loudly, cutting him off.
Cha Eunwoo
EXCUSES, EXCUSES😠😠. YOU THINK I HAVE ALL DAY TO WAIT FOR YOU?
Cha Eunwoo
Next time, don’t waste my time.
Jungkook clenched his jaw slightly but said nothing. He was used to this.
Jimin
(Turned to Jungkook) Hey, Jungkook, today you came with Eunwoo?
Before Jungkook could even open his mouth, Eunwoo smirked and answered for him.
Cha Eunwoo
Yeah, my driver is on leave today, so I had to take him with me.
Jimin
(Raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a sarcastic smirk) Ohh... I see. Your driver takes leave quite frequently, doesn’t he?
The underlying sarcasm in his words was impossible to miss.
Eunwoo didn’t bother responding, rolling his eyes as he walked toward the car.
Jungkook sighed and moved toward the driver’s seat, slipping inside without another word.
Cha Eunwoo
(Turned to Taehyung, his expression softening instantly) Bye, sweetheart...
Kim Taehyung
(Returned the smile) Bye.
Jimin
(Leaned slightly toward Jungkook’s window and waved) Bye, Jungkook.
Taehyung watched the brief exchange, his gaze flickering between them. His lips pressed into a thin line as an irritated thought crossed his mind.
Kim Taehyung
💭 Such a rude person… Doesn’t even know he should say bye to the other person too.
With that, Eunwoo and Jungkook drove off, and Taehyung, still lost in his thoughts, walked away in the opposite direction.
Despite the lingering irritation in his mind, he didn’t dwell on it for long.
After all, Jungkook was nothing more than a servant.
Jimin glanced once more at Taehyung’s retreating figure before shaking his head.
He never liked him—not because of who he was, but because of the way he turned a blind eye to Eunwoo’s behavior.
