Aarav leaned back in his seat, rolling a cigarette between his fingers, his eyes fixed on the city skyline. Kabir watched him closely, sensing something different about his friend tonight.
Kabir Malhotra
"You’re distracted, Aarav. That’s rare."
Aarav Gupta
"Maybe. Or maybe I’ve just found something… interesting
Kabir Malhotra
"Let me guess. A girl
Aarav smirked but said nothing. He crushed the cigarette in the ashtray, his mind elsewhere.
Kabir Malhotra
"That’s a yes. Who is she
Aarav Gupta
"Aratika Singh."
Kabir frowned, trying to recall the name
Kabir Malhotra
"Never heard of her. That’s new."
Aarav Gupta
"Exactly. She’s not like the others. She doesn’t try to impress me. She doesn’t even look at me."
Kabir Malhotra
"And that… bothers you?" [chuckles]
Aarav’s smirk faded slightly, his fingers tightening around his glass.
Aarav Gupta
"It fascinates me. And I don’t like feeling fascinated."
Kabir exhaled, shaking his head. He knew this side of Aarav all too well.
Kabir Malhotra
"So, what’s the plan? You’re going to chase her until she gives in?"
Aarav leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. His voice was low, dangerous
Aarav Gupta
"There’s no ‘chase,’ Kabir. She doesn’t know it yet… but she already belongs to me."

Aarav’s eyes gleamed with something unreadable—possession, determination, obsession. And far away, completely unaware, Aratika Singh had just become his next obsession.
