CHAPTER 2
Hana entered the small room with the food tray and kept it on the floor beside her mother who was sleeping.

"Eomma.." she shook her body.

"Wake up. Have breakfast, you have to take medicines as well. Come on. Wake up." she added removing the hairs from her mother's face who woke up by her touch.

"Good morning.." she smiled.
Eunji smiled back at her daughter and sat on the bed sighing.

"Come, let's wash your face first." she said making her stand up and taking her to the hand pump.
After they again sat down on the same place and Hana started feeding her mother.
Kim Eunji (Hana's mother)
"Did you eat?" she asked taking another bite.
Kim Hana (Hanni) (23)
"Yup.." she nodded her head.
Kim Eunji (Hana's mother)
"You aren't lying right?" she asked.
Kim Hana (Hanni) (23)
"No why would I? I even made Tteokguk for myself." she said proudly.
Eunji smiled and patted her head.

"Mira?"
Kim Hana (Hanni) (23)
"Yeah she had her breakfast as well, and she is maybe getting ready to go to Yuna's wedding." she shrugged her shoulder at last.
Kim Eunji (Hana's mother)
"Did your Halmeoni agree?" she asked worried.
Kim Hana (Hanni) (23)
"I will make her agree.." she said, a smirk forming on her lips.
Kim Eunji (Hana's mother)
"Do one thing, you also go with her, hmm." she said.
Kim Hana (Hanni) (23)
"Why??"
Kim Eunji (Hana's mother)
"Mira is a child, I don't want to leave her alone, it's not good for girls to go anywhere without someone. So go with her, okay?" she coughed.
Kim Hana (Hanni) (23)
"Ufffo.. don't talk while eating." she scolded.
After some time, she finished eating and Hana took out the medicines from the box and handed her along with water.
Hana made her lie again on the bed and started massaging her legs.
Eunji just kept looking at her fondly when her eyes landed on the dress she was wearing.
Her brows furrowed and got moist seeing the clothes are torn from many places, and are re-stitched.
Kim Eunji (Hana's mother)
"Why are you wearing this, Hanni? It's not wearable anymore." she said softly.
Hana looked at her clothes and then back to her mother, she smiled softly touching her clothes.

"It's still good, Eomma, for everyday wearing. I have kept the nice one for special occasions." she lied to her mother.
Kim Eunji (Hana's mother)
"You have grown so much that you started lying to your Eomma? " She asked chuckling.
Hana eyes widened, and she looked down feeling guilty for lying to her mother.
She looked up when she heard a sniff along with a little sob.
Kim Hana (Hanni) (23)
"Eomma.. what?" she asked panicked.
Kim Hana (Hanni) (23)
"Are you hurting? Are you not comfortable?" she asked frantically.
Eunji just held her hand and kissed it.
Kim Eunji (Hana's mother)
"Eomma.. Eomma is sorry Hanni.. she can't do anything for you all, I am sorry, please forgive Eomma.." she cried.
Hana shook her head and wiped her tears and smiled softly.

"Eomma, don't blame yourself, you are the best Eomma one could ever have. And I am glad that I am your daughter. Don't think rubbish okay?" she asked.
Eunji was again about to say something when Hana kept her fingers on her lips.

"Shhh, lay down and sleep. And get well soon. I don't like you like this. hmm?" she said.
Kim Na-young (grandma)
"No.." she said and turned around to do her work.
Kim Hana (Hanni) (23)
"Please.. halmeoni.. please.." she pleaded.
Kim Na-young (grandma)
"I said no. Can't you understand such a simple answer. Go away, now." she yelled making her flinch.
Kim Hana (Hanni) (23)
"She is Mira's friend Halmeoni, she will be sad if she doesn't attend her wedding. Please. I will not ask anything else after this for 2 no no for 1 month. I promise. Please let her go." she again tried.
Kim Na-young (grandma)
"Uffo.. this girl. Fine go. But make sure she come back before night." she said rolling her eyes.
Kim Hana (Hanni) (23)
"Thank you.. Halmeoni. And I will go myself with her. So don't worry, we will be back before it gets dark." she said and went out.
Kim Na-young (grandma)
'I have to talk to Seojoon about her marriage. It's time she gets married.' she thought looking the way Hana left.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"Hana.. Hana.." she shouted coming out of the kitchen area holding a big pot in her hands.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"Uff.. where is this girl.." she muttered annoyed.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"Hana.. Come and help me with this.. Ji-won.." she at last shouted for her daughter-in-law.

"Should I help you with this?" A voice said from behind.
Nari flinched and looked back only to drop the pot on the ground, which shattered into pieces.
Kim Ji-won (20) (Seokjin's wife)
"Eomma.." she shouted coming towards her.
Ji-won looked up when she saw Nari hugging the man and started crying.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"Tae.. my son.. how? You.. here.. how?" she cried caressing his whole face.
She was feeling her heart burst out of happiness after seeing her son finally in front of her. No one can understand how a mother feels when her child is away from her for this long.
Taehyung smiled as tears filled his eyes as well. He missed her too. He missed all of them but mostly his mother.
He hugged his mother again who was still crying.

"Eomma.. I missed you.." he said burying his face into her neck.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"I missed you too, only I know how I have spent these eight years without you." she cried and kissed his forehead.

"Don't cry.. I am here now and I am going to stay here for a long time, for now." he said and wiped her tears and that's when he noticed Ji-won.
He furrowed his brows in confusion and looked at Ji-won who bowed.
Kim Ji-won (20) (Seokjin's wife)
"Annyeongasheyo.." she said.
Taehyung bowed back and looked back to his mother who was looking at him fondly.
Kim Taehyung (Tae) (27)
"Sorry I didn't recognize you." he apologized.
Kim Ji-won (20) (Seokjin's wife)
"That's because we haven't met, I am Kim Ji-won--"
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"She is Seokjin's wife." she introduced her.
Taehyung's eyes widened and this time he bowed out of pure respect.
Kim Taehyung (Tae) (27)
"Ohh.. Hyung got married? Hello, I am Taehyung, Seokjin's younger brother." he introduced himself.
Kim Ji-won (20) (Seokjin's wife)
"Ahh it's okay, you don't have to bow to me, you are older than me. And I know you already." she said flabbergasted.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"Still you are elder to him in relation now go and call everyone. They will be so happy." she said and took his son towards the living room.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"Eomma.. Eomma.. See who's here.." she shouted as he entered the living room.
Kim Na-young (grandma)
"Why are you shouting, Nari?" she asked, coming out of her room.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"See Eomma, who is finally here.." she said happily.
Na-young's eyes widened as she adjusted her glasses. Taehyung smiled looking at her face which was trying to recognize him or already did as a smile bloomed on the wrinkled face.
Kim Na-young (grandma)
"Taehyung-ah?" she asked.
Kim Taehyung (Tae) (27)
"Annyeong halmeoni.." he said and hugged her.
Kim Na-young (grandma)
"Ohh Lord, Taehyung-ah.. you really here..? I thought I would die without seeing you." she said.
Kim Taehyung (Tae) (27)
"How can you? See I am here now, and no one's dying." he said and sat beside them.

"Where's everyone?" he asked looking around the house which hasn't changed much from the time he left.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"Your father and brothers are in the fields. It's cutting season, if you remember." she replied
Taehyung nodded his head and again looked around when he noticed Ji-won in the kitchen making tea and taking out his fav snacks.
The Kitchen is just across the living room so he can see. Nothing changed except they aged.
Kim Taehyung (Tae) (27)
"Where is samchon, sukmo, Mira.. Soyeon and Hana.. where are they? " he asked.
Ji-won kept the snacks and tea on the table in front of him.
Kim Ji-won (20) (Seokjin's wife)
"Hana and Mira, went to their friend's wedding and--"
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"Come on Tae-ah.. first eat we will talk about it later. Here have this. " she said and picked a cookie from the plate and made him eat that.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"How is it?"
Kim Taehyung (Tae) (27)
"It's so tasty.. You made it?" he asked.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"Yes, who else. Now finish. " she said.
Taehyung shook his head and pushed the plate a little away.

"Not now, Eomma. I want to change first. Let me change then we will eat okay?" he asked.
Kim Nari (Tae's mother)
"Yes yes. Ji-won go and send someone to call Hana and Mira back. I am going to cook your favorite today. " she said and smiled at Taehyung.
Kim Taehyung (Tae) (27)
"No it's okay, let them enjoy. I will eat whatever you cook eomma, no need to tire yourself much." he said and made his way towards the same old room along with his suitcase.
