[ Jungukk's eyelids fluttered as he slowly regained consciousness. His body still ached, but his mind immediately reminded him of the last thing he remembered—Taehyung was injured.]

[ His heart clenched. He pushed himself up abruptly, ignoring the dull pain in his limbs. Without wasting another second, he rushed outside the room, his sharp eyes scanning the hallway.]

[ The scent of food drifted in the air, calming yet unfamiliar. His footsteps were quick as he made his way toward the source. ]

[ Jungkook and Taehyung were sitting at the dining table, casually discussing something over a meal. ]

( narrowed his eyes but didn’t argue. Instead, he simply exhaled.) "Fine. But at least give us permission to come to when we want ."

( paused before nodding slightly.) "I will think about it."

[ Jungkook and Jungukk Both are happy inside because this time Taehyung rejected them completely. Even though Taehyung didn't give permission, they are happy , for now , this is enough for them .]

[Jungukk who had been smiling quietly, finally spoke. ]

[ The penthouse was dark except for the city lights streaming in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Taehyung stood in the middle of the room, his expression unreadable as he poured himself a drink.]

[ A soft knock echoed in the space. ]

(clenched his jaw.) "No. But we should be more careful with him ."

( leaned forward slightly, his tone lower.) "I’ve already arranged for my men to keep an eye on him. He won’t know, but he won’t be alone either."

( exhaled, his body relaxing slightly.) "Good."

(glanced at his watch before standing up.) "I have to leave now."

(grabbed his phone and checked his messages before shoving it into his pocket.) "Keep an eye on him , don't let him hurt and don't stop him from doing anything."

(crossed his arms.) "I was going to do that anyway."

Jungukk watched him leave, running a hand through his hair.
