(The bell rings, students settle in, and the day begins. But today, something is missing.)
shaam
(stretching) "Man, it’s too peaceful today."
Ira
(flipping pages lazily) "And that’s a bad thing because…?"
shaam
(grinning) "Because no one is standing on a desk giving a speech about the importance of morning naps."
Ira
(pauses for a second, then shrugs) "Maybe the school finally kicked him out."
(They both chuckle, but their eyes flicker toward Ahaan’s empty seat for a second.)
[Scene: Lunch Break – Feels… Odd]
(For once, no one is fighting over food, cracking jokes, or stealing Ira’s paratha. It’s just a normal lunch break.)
Student
(mid-bite) "Did Ahaan tell anyone he wasn’t coming?"
shaam
"Nope. Maybe he’s sick?"
Student
"Weird. He’s literally everywhere all the time."
(There’s a small pause, but then lunch continues like normal. Just another day. Nothing special.)
[Scene: year Pass – End of the School Year Approaches]
(the day—loud, dramatic, completely normal. His absence is forgotten. The days roll by in a blur of jokes, last-minute assignments, and countdowns to vacation.)
Teacher
(sighs) "You all survived the year. Barely."
Ahaan
(grinning) "I personally carried this class to victory."
Ira
(rolling her eyes) "You personally dragged us down."
shaam
(laughing) "Next year, same chaos?"
(The class cheers. The year ends on a bright, careless note—like nothing will ever change.)
Ira’s Diary
Ira
"The year’s over. Just like that.
I won’t miss the exams. Or the early mornings. Or the dumb assignments.
But…
I guess the year wasn’t all bad."
Ahaan's Dairy
Ahaan
*"Another year down. Another year where I lived like I wanted.
I don’t know how many more I have, but for now…
I’ll just keep going.
Same jokes, same chaos, same me.
For as long as I can."
