As soon as Aurora left, Ronan ran back to his car and got inside. Then he broke down. He placed his head on the steering wheel and cried his heart out.
He was scared. He was scared to die. He needed Aurora. He needed his little wife's warmth. He needed her comfort.
Ronan didn't know when he would die. He had a maximum of three months, and his minimum was a millisecond. Yes, his heart could stop at any second. That's why Ronan was scared. He was terrified.
He didn't want to die. He didn't want to leave his Auri. He wanted to live a long life with Aurora. But he had a maximum of only three months. So he wanted to stay with his wife every second. He wanted to take his last breath in Aurora's arms.
But now, Aurora was not by his side. What if he died before Aurora came back?
What if he wouldn't be able to see her face ever again?
What if he wouldn't get the chance to say how much he loved Aurora?
His thoughts made him cry more. Ronan clutched his aching heart and sobbed outside the airport.
