They decorate the room together, setting a cozy atmosphere with dim lighting.
Arav malhotra
(Turning to Myra) You can sleep in the bed; I'll manage on the sofa.
Myra Khanna
(Nodded her head)
We were exhausted, and Myra went for a shower.
Arav malhotra
(In mind) She's absolutely stunning.
I was resting on the sofa, my arms folded behind my head, eyes half-closed. The soft creak of the bathroom door made me glance up. Myra stepped out, her damp hair cascading over her shoulders. The silky hotel nightgown draped effortlessly over her, the dim light accentuating her elegance. I swallowed hard, quickly looking away.
Arav malhotra
(clearing his throat) Uh… you done?
Myra Khanna
(drying her hair with a towel) Obviously. (She smirks, walking toward the bed.) You look comfortable there.
Arav malhotra
(grinning slightly) Trying to be. The sofa isn’t exactly a bed, but I’ll survive.
Myra Khanna
(raising an eyebrow): You sure? The bed is big enough for two.
I stiffen, my gaze flickering toward her reflection in the mirror. She’s teasing, but there’s a softness in her tone.
Arav malhotra
(laughing lightly) Nice try, but I don’t trust you to not kick me off in your sleep.
Myra Khanna
(chuckling) Fair enough. Sweet dreams, Arav.
Maybe we were just being friends, and she was less shy around me now.
She slips under the covers while I shift on the sofa, stealing one last glance at her before closing my eyes.
