Super Green Vol 17: Super Red VS Skilled Striker (Even Better Grappler Than Her)

This volume 17 starts with Phillip standing inside the cage.

William: Phillip, she already left. Why are you still here?

Phillip: Waiting for another opponent.

British Love: Well, this kid is very interesting. Haha, can we leave you for now?

Phillip: Sure.

They leave, and after several minutes of waiting, someone arrives. This man is a ski-masked teenager with a muscular yet lean and wiry build, called "Mad Dog"—the elder brother of Phillip's previous female opponent. Just like her, he is also a member of RSFL Group 6, but unlike his sister, he is a high-ranking member.

Mad Dog: You must be the one who defeated my sister, right?

Phillip: If you mean the previous girl that I knocked out, then yeah. Why? Are you planning revenge?

Mad Dog: And what if I am? What are you gonna do about it? 😏

Phillip: Come here. I'm not scared of you. I'm currently seeking improvement.

Mad Dog: So, being my body bag will give you improvement, huh? Sure, I'll give you the biggest and fastest improvement possible. 😈🔥

(Phillip: Ang yabang ng putanginang ito ah.)

Phillip: Then come here.

Mad Dog enters the cage.

Mad Dog: Shall we dance? 😈🔥

Phillip: Bring it on! 👿🔥

Phillip attacks Mad Dog, and all his attacks are fast, strong, powerful, chaotic, unpredictable, aggressive, and relentless—but this time, they are more calculated, technical, precise, and tactical than before. However, Mad Dog dodges and counters them very easily. These moves aren't new to him, showing that his striking skills are much superior to Phillip's.

Their striking styles have similarities, but the difference is that Mad Dog’s style isn’t just a mix—it’s a balanced combination of brawling and various martial arts. In terms of brute force and finesse, they pale on comparison not because of their level, but rather in how they balance both.

Mad Dog is superior in brute force due to his experience in lifting weights, fighting with raw strength, and being older and bigger.

Mad Dog is superior in finesse due to his experience in training and actual fights using finesse, whether in rules-based fights, uncontrolled environments, or life-or-death situations.

Their fight isn't structured—almost like a street fight, except there are no weapons and no help, unlike on the streets (just like Phillip's fight in Volume 16).

But Phillip is regenerating so fast and so strong—and during this moment, he murmurs in his mind:

Phillip's mind: Pagkatapos ng magaling na grappler, magaling na striker naman. Pero marami naman akong galawan na nakuha mula sa kapatid niya. Kung saulado niya lahat at kaya niyang i-counter, eh may sarili naman akong galawan na natutunan kay X-Blade at sa sarili ko lang. Hahaha. Striker ka pa rin, pre. Hahanapan lang kita ng tiyempo para sa ground fighting. 😈😈😈

Mad Dog also murmurs in his mind:

Mad Dog's mind: Ano kaya kung panay iwas muna ako sa ground fighting hangga't maaari? Parang automatic talo na para bang striker na automatic talo kapag na-switch ang laban sa ground. Pero kapag nagtagumpay siya... edi surprise! Tanginamo ka ha?! 😈😈😈

Phillip keeps attacking, but this time, he becomes more cautious, focusing on offense with defense by countering Mad Dog’s counters. However, he still gets overwhelmed—especially when Mad Dog matches his aggression, causing Phillip to fall to the ground.

Immediately, Phillip tries to switch the fight to the ground, but Mad Dog avoids it and keeps maintaining the stand-up fight—as if his victory depends on striking alone. This angers Phillip even more, making him even more powerful, relentless, and strategic.

As the fight goes on, Phillip's power level keeps increasing—physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Mad Dog's mind: Mukhang mas gumaganda ang laban namin ah. Lumalakas na siya. 😈😈😈

The stand-up striking fight continues for a long time. As the fight progresses, Phillip not only becomes more powerful but also smarter—improving in the middle of the fight. His moves become more calculated, cautious, strategic, and tactical.

His strength, durability, speed, agility, power, endurance, stamina, reflexes, and clarity all increase.

The brain becomes even more important as the fight gets deeper.

Phillip keeps trying to change the fight to the ground through relentless aggression, outsmarting, and waiting for the perfect chance. Meanwhile, Mad Dog keeps avoiding it over and over again.

Based on his expression, Mad Dog seems nervous and pressured, despite his best efforts to hide it. However, deep inside, he’s actually excited for the fight to switch to the ground.

This moment lasts for a long time—until Phillip, with all his luck and ever-growing stats fueled by anger, finally succeeds in switching the fight to the ground.

But this was a mistake.

Phillip underestimated him—thinking Mad Dog was only a striking specialist. But in reality, Mad Dog is also a grappling specialist who has even surpassed his sister (Phillip's previous opponent).

Phillip resists relentlessly and desperately—like an enraged wild animal fighting for survival. He tries to counter smartly using the grappling moves his sister used against him, but they aren't helping much.

Mad Dog is not only a better grappler than his sister—he is also familiar with all of her techniques.

Phillip, now a savage, enraged fighter, still calculated and tactical, tries to use his own grappling moves—ones he taught himself and learned from X-Blade.

He even starts using instinctive moves he's never done before.

But despite his extreme anger and techniques, Phillip is still helpless in the ground fight. His resistance is relentless, and his anger continues to increase his power level over time—but Mad Dog has the skill and experience to counter it.

Phillip's blood boils even more at this insult, causing him to roar like a lion—but even louder.

Phillip: ROAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!! 😡🦁🔥🩸

The ground fight continues until Phillip finally manages to switch it back to stand-up fighting thanks to:

His Anger Empowerment

His Relentless Effort

Mad Dog’s own decision to switch it back

Mad Dog: Hahaha! Wala kang kwentang bata ka! Para kang tangang bobo! 😈😈😈🔥🔥🔥

Phillip: PUTANGINAMO!!!!!! 😡😡😡🔥🔥🔥

The fight continues with Phillip's anger making him stronger and smarter. After a long battle of stand-up and ground fighting, Phillip finally overpowers Mad Dog and knocks him out.

Mad Dog tries to escape, but he can't—Phillip's physical, mental, and emotional stats have become too much.

After knocking Mad Dog out, Phillip stands over him with indifference and murmurs in his mind:

Phillip's mind: Isa siyang magaling na striker na mas mahusay pa sa grappling kaysa sa kapatid niyang grappling specialist. Nakakamangha—pero hindi pa rin niya ako kinaya. ❄️🩸

After thinking this, Phillip leaves.

The End.
