It took Jungkook 2 days to come to the conclusion that he indeed has been reborn or time travelled or whatever. These 2 days have been literal hell for him.
For the first day, he had been paranoid and anxious that it was all his dream that his brain cooked. He constantly tried many times to come out of his delusion or hallucination or whatever it is. But nothing changed even after him trying so many times till noon of the first day. So he decided to at least live this delusion for the rest of the day thinking it as his grace time after his death with his family for his sufferings in the past 18 years of hell.
Even then he couldn't even enjoy his mom's home cooked food, his father's embrace and his sister's love because of the constant fear of everything being snatched when he closes his eyes for a second. He refused to even sleep fearing all these will vanish as a dream itself. So his first day sleep is full of his cold sweat and nightmares. He tried to prepare himself for the next day when he'll go to the afterlife or hell or heaven amidst all the insomniac and nightmare-d night.
For the second day when his sister pulled the prank of pouring cold water on his face, he got startled but more than that, he was relieved to see his sister still alive and healthy so he hugged his sister tight and cried. His sister almost got a mini attack not expecting this reaction from her devil of a mischievous brother after pulling his most hated prank on him. His family got worried seeing his odd behavior since he woke up after almost drowning.
He tried to accept that he indeed got blessed by the Moon goddess either to fulfill his oath or to give him justice or maybe both. He's indeed in the past. Approximately 10 months before his marriage. If he acts smart, he can escape the hellhole while taking his much-needed revenge.
So on the third day, he went to the temple and prayed to the Moon goddess with utmost devotion. If he was 18 years before he died, then he's 22 now. Now he tried to remember everything that happened from now. He took his personal diary which he found yesterday when he tried to confirm that this is his real past and note down the details he remembered to not miss anything.

He wandered around the palace trying to find the place where there would be a small escape place which he remembers from his childhood.

Uff! Where's that place!? I remember escaping the palace when appa tried to train me in sword fighting when I was just 7. I've used that place quite often too when I was newly married before the mockery of me being barren spread which is like 6 yrs after marriage I guess

So he learned the skills within the next 2 years and challenged the same alpha again. This time he trained in the common fight training ground near his home because his father refused to take his 16 years beautiful omega son to the palace where most of the workers are Alphas. He won that Alpha this time.
He also used this escape many times after his marriage. That's why he knew exactly and how for all these years. Whenever he felt overwhelmed inside the palace because of the taunting and mental pressure by Mingyu, he took this route to get fresh air away from the suffocating palace.
He went near the place and pushed the tall bush of plants to see a tall tree tangled in between the tall wall.
