Chapter 7- When we meet ,When we met ..I was-

With Kaine Mito waiting in her bedroom the following morning.

When the time is right , I can't tell when , I am to be married of to help my family . The good thing is I could choose the boy I want to marry. Being young and already told what to do so soon , I do not like it.

No one ever told me why , why must I choose ?

Will I be happy with this person?

Will he be happy and will he love me back ?

As you can tell , this is pretty nerve wracking.

I look out the window and I see my parents are happy.

I see the way my mom looks at my dad ,her eyes sparkle and she smiles back at him . While I can't see the expression my dad gives her back , she's so lucky to have him.

My father is very kind, very loving. But I don't understand why he has to go to the doctors sometimes.I have noticed he's getting thinner,his hugs aren't so tight anymore.I wish someone could tell me what is happening.

William : You couldn't handle the truth ,that's why .

Kaine : Why are you here !? * drops her diary *

William : You were saying what you were writing out loud. If you want to know why you should ask dad.

Kaine : Why can't you just tell me?

William : If I tell you,it will ruin the chance for him to talk to you.

Kaine : What ever it is ,mom's been hiding it well. Is that smile fake all along? ( looks out the window)

William : ( Looks at what Kaine is looking at) No ,that is a real smile. Her eyes sparkle and- Hide !! ( ducks head with Kaine. )

*With Annie and Wilbert at the garden bench.

Annie : I can't help but worry , the kids will one day notice you changing.( leans in to Wilbert's chest)

I love the sound of your beating heart. I don't want you to go. * hugs Wilbert*

Wilbert : When I start showing my hair ,I will tell them.* kisses her head and closes his eyes* Be strong for both of us .

Annie : Just don't go so soon , please promise me.

Wilbert: You know I can't promise you -

Annie : * breaks down crying* How could you not promise me ? ...you gotta ...I can't raise them on my own . You'd say you will always be here with us . I can't be here without you.

Wilbert : To think you found me abandoned on a cold night. Abandoned for the same reason why I am dying of.

~Annie's memory ~

Annie walking down the path to get to the house ,the storm picking up strength and the cold air sending pain to her lungs .Sees blood and follows it until she sees a boy covered by the snow . Accidentally stops stepping on his hair.

Annie : What happened to you here? ( takes off the snow off his back) Your losing blood ...

Wilbert : ( looks at Annie and breathes heavily)So cold ..( spits out blood )

Annie : Let me call out for help!!Your blood is ... dripping...(runs to get help)

Wilbert : (sticks out hand ) Wait!!

Annie : (Freezes and looks at Wilbert) Wait what !?

Wilbert : Don't tell them about my blood , they must not know....( coughs out blood).

Annie : Then how can I help you ?!

A wagon wants to pass through but stops .

Orion : Hey you two stop causing traffic on the streets.

Annie : Could you help us ?! He's hurt and losing blood...

Orion : ( looks at both of them and nods yes ) Sure ,hop in the wagon ,though where too?

Annie : Somewhere to treat him .

The horse arrives to the Fellini household.

Corrina : Woah son who did you go and help this time...?

Orion : These two were on the streets when I happen to see them just sitting there .One of them is hurt badly.

Hatori : ( looks at them shivering) Let them in quickly .

Orion helps the boy walk to the nearest chair and Annie just enters the house .

Corrina : Oh deary , how did this happened to you two ?

Annie : I was on my way to the local store to get food and I happen to step on his hair . As you can see his hair is very white.

Hatori : Your blood is very different from us ,what's your name kid ?!

Annie : He hasn't told me either , please be good to him .

Hatori : Annie Mito ,you never know who you find may be dangerous.

Annie : He's just a boy , abandoned by his family .So I was told.

Hatori : With a very big stab wound in his chest ,coughing the blood of the vexed.

Corrina : Then you heal him right now !!

Hatori : Corrina we can't he will spread the word we healed him ...

Corrina : I am like you boy ,don't worry he will heal you in no time.( winks)

Wilbert : Yes ...I was...stabbed ...my name is Wilbert ...

Annie : Don't force yourself to much though .

Wilbert : You shouldn't worry about me ,right after this I will leave -

Annie : No ,you can't go !!

Hatori !: You gotta drink this ,it's been helping my wife ever since .( gives bowl to Wilbert)

Annie : Please don't go , I will keep this all a secret ,we all will.Right everyone? ( looks around).

Corrina : Don't worry Annie he will be ok . Orion what's with that face ?

Hatori : We won't say anything if you don't .

Wilbert : Deal ...( sips bowl)

Corrina in the kitchen with Orion. Orion walks in circles and snapping his fingers.

Orion : Did you hear her?! With this guy I have no chance at all. All because he had to appear! In the storm no less.

Corrina : Are you telling me you were going to choose Annie ?!

Orion : I was going to tell her ,we even grew up together., I have to choose the other girl now.

Corrina : You may never know son ,she may love you back .

Orion : Wrong !! When I helped him, she looked at him , she even asked him to stay here of all places.

Corrina: ( hugs Orion) My poor boy ...your first crush -

Orion : Has crushed my heart...I know you liked her too .

Corrina : I would of loved her, don't give up just yet.

Orion runs outside and slams the door behind him.

Annie enters the kitchen and looks around.

Annie: hopefully my parents won't worry for me .

Corrina : If they love how can't they not?!

Food will be ready soon.

Annie : Where's Orion?! I forgot to thank him for the help.( walks outside as she sees Orion ).

Orion : ( turns around and quickly dries his eyes).

Oh it's you Annie . ( sniff)

Annie: Were you crying?! ( walks to him )

Orion : I was , all because of you ...Why did you send me a card if you were just going to crush people hearts?!

Annie : You actually read the letters ? Wait ,that's why you left the room ?

Orion : I saw how you looked at him ..I got jealous and left ...( pushes her down to the snow ).

Annie : ( Falls to ground and mud ) Was that really necessary? I mean you don't know how I feel about you...

Orion : TELL THAT TO SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY CARES !!!( walks away opens door and slams the door shut ).

Annie : ( covers her face and cries out).

Corrina : That boy won't have a fiance acting like that ( helps Annie get up ).

Annie : I told him I still have feels for him . ( sniff ) I really do ,but he ,he left so-

Corrina : Inside please it's freezing out here.

Hatori : Woah what happened to Annie there ...

Corrina : She fell down with all that snow.

Annie : I will go and change now ,( walks to the room and takes off her wet clothes .)

Orion : ( knocks on the door and throws clothes to the floor ).

Annie : Why can't you just -

closes the door and changes ).

At night at the guest room

Everyone sleeping by the fire .Orion next to Annie ,Annie next to the parents of Orion .

Annie : ( whispering to Orion ) You don't know how I feel about you at all. You were my first love ( touches his hair ). Why ever did you snap at me ? , I may never know, but I used to love you. I'm sorry for hurting you . ( kisses his cheek and turns away to cry on the other side ).

Orion : ( hugs Annie from the back and whispers to her ear) Just forget about me...it's obvious who you like now.

Annie: I can't forget you just like that .

Orion : Aren't you tired of breaking other hearts yet ?

Annie : Orion listen too me ,I just -

Orion : Don't say a word ...the next time we meet ,we are just friends,got it ?

Annie : ( tears going down eyes)

Orion holds her close and closes his eyes and tears go down his face that it lands on Annie's neck .

Annie in her mind : Forgive me Orion ...

Back with Wilbert, Annie hearing his heartbeat.

Annie : He held me close just for that night and the beating of his heart breaking all because of me.

Wilbert : You were known to break hearts back then . I thought you were going to break my heart.

Annie : How though ?
