Jimin sits alone on the garden chair, his posture tense, yet his expression unreadable. His fingers rest lightly against his lap, but his mind? It’s nothing but still.
The weight of Suga’s words from last night lingers, replaying over and over.

He doesn’t need to look up to know. He feels his presence before he hears him, like a weight settling into the air. Jimin grips his knee slightly, as if bracing himself
Suga stands a few feet away, watching Jimin. He hesitates, something unfamiliar sitting heavy in his chest. He had been harsh last night—too harsh. But at the same time, the anger still simmers beneath his skin.
He knows Isla is here because of Jimin. He knows Jungkook is breaking apart because of it. And yet…
Suga exhales, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he slowly steps closer. His voice is quieter than usual when he finally speaks.

Jimin doesn’t respond. Doesn’t even blink. His eyes stay locked on the ground, pretending Suga isn’t standing right in front of him.

The realization makes something twist in Suga’s chest.

Jimin finally moves. Just barely. His fingers twitch, his shoulders tense, but his eyes don’t lift. When he finally speaks, his voice is distant, hollow.

Suga exhales heavily, looking away for a second before glancing back. He knows he deserves that. He knows his words from last night cut deeper than intended. But at the same time…

Suga doesn’t answer immediately. Because no, he wouldn’t. He can’t. Because no matter how much he regrets being harsh, the truth doesn’t change.

Jimin’s breath hitches. Just for a second. But Suga notices. He notices everything. And that’s enough for him to know that he’s right—Jimin does know something. But Jimin?
Suga takes a slow breath, kneeling slightly so he’s at Jimin’s eye level. He’s trying—he really is—to be softer this time

Jimin’s shoulders rise slightly, like he’s taking a deep breath, but he still doesn’t speak. His mind is running, thoughts spiraling between Suga’s words, Isla’s presence, and the look in Suga’s eyes last night—like he was angry, like he was hurt.
That does something to him.
But before respond to Suga hyung, Jimin pushes himself up from the chair and stand and avoid his gaze

And suddenly, the anger that had been simmering is replaced with something else—something softer, but no less intense.

Jimin finally moves. His lips press together, his throat bobbing as he swallows, but he still refuses to look up

Suga exhales sharply, rubbing the back of his neck. He expected this. He should’ve known this would happen.
But still, hearing Jimin’s voice like that—so cold, so detached—makes something twist in his chest.
Suga drops his hand, his voice dipping lower.

Jimin’s fingers dig into his palm , tension running up his spine. He finally lifts his gaze—just for a second, just enough to meet Suga’s eyes
Suga’s eyes are burning. Not with anger, not entirely, but with something else. Something Jimin can’t place—or maybe, something he doesn’t want to place.
His breath catches. Just for a second. And Suga… Suga sees it.

Suga tilts his head slightly, a small scoff leaving his lips. He should be mad. He should push harder.
But for some reason, seeing Jimin like this—tense, guarded, almost vulnerable—makes him hesitate.
Suga exhales, rubbing his temple before finally speaking
Suga doesn’t push further. Not today. Not when he sees the way Jimin’s hands are trembling slightly, the way his lips part like he wants to say something but won’t.

And with that, he turns and walks away, leaving Jimin frozen in place, his breath unsteady, his heart pounding.
